Three months dealing with these people... had to get an attorney. They sold my young daughter a twenty year old piece of junk, only because she saw it on their property before they moved it to auction... attorney. They sold my young daughter a twenty year old piece of junk, only because she saw it on their property before they moved it to auction... and misrepresented the mileage, by 85,000 MILES !!! Tony James Vondell made this deal with my young daughter, and although we got an attorney to unwind the deal, it has been xxxx !!! Everyone I have talked to has been dismissive and sneaky. Tony Vondell, Bob Rockov, Danielle Gebbia, Lee Spencer, EVERYONE I have tried to get help from.... You are ALL unethical liars and you should be ashamed to go to work everyday. There is NO self respect in being a sell out. And Ron Newman, their attorney, just spews out silly legal jargon, without even knowing the case, like he is a first year freshman law student. I am disgusted by all of these people... BE WARNED. More
I have always dreaded the car buying experience! Ugh, the arm twisting, the pressure!! But, Desert Toyota was different. They didn't hound us after we test drove some cars to make the sale that day! T the arm twisting, the pressure!! But, Desert Toyota was different. They didn't hound us after we test drove some cars to make the sale that day! They didn't leave dozens of pressuring phone messages. When we went back for a second test drive, they were gracious and accommodating. The decision to buy was totally pressure free. I know I am using the word "pressure" a lot, but in the past, at other places, that was all I felt. We haggled over the price, but in a friendly and frank way. In the end, we got a great car at a price we were quite pleased with. We were treated with respect and courtesy. If you want a positive buying experience, a good price and a wonderful car, I could not recommend this group more! More

The Dealer Mike lied to us more like tried to hide details in our contract. Manny did not take the time to go over details with us. A staff member told us the turn over with staff is very high and de details in our contract. Manny did not take the time to go over details with us. A staff member told us the turn over with staff is very high and dealers try to see will last or make it. When we were waiting to see someone I could hear dealers say "theirs one go get them" meaning customers. They do not look out for your best interest. Its all about making a deal. More
The worst Service department ever experience, VERY DISAPPOINTED, SHOULD BE CLOSED;WILL NEVER BRING ANOTHER VECHILE TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE!!!! i have purchase three vechiles thur Toytoya and tw DISAPPOINTED, SHOULD BE CLOSED;WILL NEVER BRING ANOTHER VECHILE TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE!!!! i have purchase three vechiles thur Toytoya and two thur your dealership , i hope you are able to fix some of the problems with the service dept at your 22nd/kolb location, I brought my vechile to your dealership over 6 month ago (due to overheating) upon return of my vechile i was told that your service tech broke and piece that of the valve cover housing while tighting it down, two days after receiveing my vechile back my car was leaking oil (when it was not leakig oil prior) i also notice as i open the hood that the air floww housing was missing when i inquire about the two issuses i was told that they fix the oil leak and they to order the missing air flow housing. three days later my vechile was still leaking oil , i return my vechile to have it fix they told me the leak was power steering not oil , did sound right because the resouior was not low but the car started to smoke ,(car was brought back) this when on for about four months ,being told that the car was not leaking oil. i brought my car into DESERT TOTOYA 22 TIMES to fix the oil leaks ( during the time of bring my vechile back and forth they broke the gear shift, Still not fix, damage the door on the passenger which had to be sent out to body repair center for 5 days ) So Frustrated with the oil leak i took my vechile to a brake master and they found oil leak , so i went back to Desert told them what the tech said , they agree and fix the problem with the valve cover gasket , upon this slow the problem but didn't reslove it . Desert claim it was fixed but the car was still dropping oil and leaking , so i took the vechile to Lexus of tucson they dianosed immeately ,so went back to desert ,met with manager of service Brian, they agree with lexus dianosed, i express my frustation to brian that his techs over five months could not dianosed the oil leak on my vechile and i had to take my vechile to two other service provider to get my car correctly dianosed and fixed . i then found out the alarming facts , that the shop foreman did not and could not digonse the oil leak (in 5 months) Brian Service Manager gave me the impression that vechiles get damage daily at the dealership all the time ,no big deal( no apologie) bring my car back over 22 times and sitting in his shop for days , wasn't a big deal, Brain made a offer to fixed the vechile at a reduce rate i told him i wanted to thing about it , i return that afternoon to give him my decesion ,as i started to talk with him(Brian) he sat in his office tumming through a magizine as i was expressing some of my frustration,at that point ,I was so disappointed i left took my vechile to another repair sevices center. This dealership offers internet sales, which is best for me, so I responded on their web site regarding a vehicle that I was interested in. I received an automated response from a person names Stephanie Tan me, so I responded on their web site regarding a vehicle that I was interested in. I received an automated response from a person names Stephanie Tan. I responded that day with a request for more information. I did not hear back from Stephanie Tan. I sent an email the next day asking for assistance, and again did not receive a response. I found a similar vehicle at Precision Toyota and after responding on their web site had a resposne within 30 minutes. Do not buy a vehicle at Desert Toyota. Precision Toyota has much better service. My bad experience with this Toyota Dealership goes way back. It's almost as if they are doing one a favor. When I left the dealership today after my car had been serviced I decided that I will never take back. It's almost as if they are doing one a favor. When I left the dealership today after my car had been serviced I decided that I will never take my car there again. They give a great car a bad name. Look at all their ratings. Don't buy or service a car there. Ever! More
Tami is not right for her role. She needs better training in customer service, multi tasking, and phone etiquette. I have never encountered such a non- customer focused environment. in customer service, multi tasking, and phone etiquette. I have never encountered such a non- customer focused environment. More
I went through 4 salesman at Desert before finding one I felt comfortable working with, Victor. Patrick and Ryan do not work there anymore, so I obviously had no choice but to work with someone else. Ryan r felt comfortable working with, Victor. Patrick and Ryan do not work there anymore, so I obviously had no choice but to work with someone else. Ryan recommended I work with Lucas, and while he's a nice guy, he needs to learn a little when it comes to dealing with customers. On our test drive, he drove recklessly down 22nd, doing about 80-90MPH, weaving in and out of cars, and overall making me fear for my safety a little. Even when I was behind the wheel, he seemed to be completely enveloped by the task of getting the Entune system to sync with his iPhone (on which he has God awful music, just saying). Not someone I wanted to work with, so I walked out. I then found Victor, who was very courteous, professional, and laid back. I test drove a truck with him, and went inside to purchase it. When we had gotten about 1/2 way through the process, we learned that another salesman had shown the truck while we were doing paperwork, and circumvented the proper procedures in order to sell the truck out from underneath me. I was negotiating on the vehicle first! That was completely unprofessional, and I left furious. I went to Precision Toyota that night and purchased a 2008 Tundra, and I'm very happy with my experience there. Victor is someone I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, but watch out for the other guys - a generic chimpanzee would be better suited to sell cars than they are. More
