I have purchased 3 different vehicles from this dealership. Everyone is really nice when you are buying something but not so much when you bring something in to sell. I had a beautiful 2011 Tundra crew max with super low miles and had a for sale sign on it when I was getting the oil changed. The used car manager wanted to make me a deal. I had nothing better to do so I heard him out. He actually made me an offer that was really good. In the end it was a bold faced lie and offered me $2,800 less than what he originally said. I obviously declined and left quite upset. I went back the next day to voice my frustration with the whole situation. I was very cool about it and let them know that I didn't appreciate the way they were doing business and also that I had been a customer there for a long time. I asked if they wanted to try again. Unfortunately the GM had just left for a week so I had to wait for him to get back. A week later I called and they offered me a little more so the next day I went in. Go figure that the internet was down and they said they couldn't proceed until it was fixed. ok, so I left and came back the next day. What do they tell me??? Oh, we don't want it anymore!!! Talk about wasting my time! I couldn't believe the BS that these people spit out of their mouth. I will never bring my business anywhere near them again. I suggest you do the same. I went straight over to Precision Toyota and guess what...... they were super straight forward, offered me more for the truck and handed me a check!!! Night and day! Precision is they way to go. No hassle or lies. More
I have had to have several things done to my car. One was extremely time consuming. I needed the entire roof disassembeled as well as the front seat taken out etc. Desert Toyota gave me a free rental car a extremely time consuming. I needed the entire roof disassembeled as well as the front seat taken out etc. Desert Toyota gave me a free rental car and fixed the noise that was coming from the roof. Everything was done on time as promised. Driving my car now is a wonderful experience. It is truly quiet, I cannot hear other cars or the road when I am driving with the windows up. I thought they could never put the car back together again. They did, and did a beautiful job. More
Maggie really knew her stuff about the car. She was really helpful, but not at all pushy. At no time did she make us feel like she was pressuring us to buy a car, but just there to help us. I also appreciated that she never told us to turn on the radio on the test drive so that we couldn't hear the sounds of the car and the cabin noise. We had been to several other dealerships and test drove a few other cars, and it was not a comfortable experience due to the high-pressure sales attitude. We bought from Toyota not only because it was a great product, but because Maggie treated us like people, not just consumers, and made us feel really comfortable. In short, she's awesome. More
I had been in a car accident and my vehicle was rendered a total loss. I was reluctantly looking for a car to replace the one I lost in the accident. I really felt that our Salesperson (Justin Boese) truly cared about what I purchased and made every effort to find a vehicle I was going to love again. He listened to our needs and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was impressed that he took the time to bring a vehicle we were potentially interested in from your outside lot and pulled it inside the facility for our comfort rather than letting us shiver outside in the cold night. More
I met the mechanic ALLEN. He told me what was wrong with my truck and howhe had taken his time to fix all the things that were wrong. I had a belt on the front seat of the truck and they called to see if Al my truck and howhe had taken his time to fix all the things that were wrong. Tami Rumler, the service rep. is truly outstanding. The work is always done right and the car was washed and ready ahead of time. There is a comfortable waiting area with free coffee and a very good snack work is always done right and the car was washed and ready ahead of time. All the service for my 2012 Prius as well as the 2010 Prius that I previously owned has been done by Desert Toyota. The experience has always been excellent during this time. When I called to make my appointment, I first spoke with a general operator for the Services Depaetment. The person took my name and vehicle information, and what day and time I would like to come in. Tami a general operator for the Services Depaetment. She was knowledgable of my vehicle and the services I was requesting. She also engaged me on a more personal level as we chatted about sports while she was entering my information. Finally, Tami helped save me a few bucks as she activiely looked for and found disocounts/coupons being offered by Desert Toyota that I was not even aware were avaiable. Other dealers aren't always so accomadating, requiring the customer to inform the Service Department at check in what discounts/coupons they are egigible for. Even then, some shops will point to "the fine print," which excludes trucks or offer valid only for four cylinders. I don't know if this is how Desert Toyota trains their staff and expects them to act, or wheather Tami went above and beyond, but it doesn't matter, I greatly appreciated her efforts and genuine friendly attitude. Cost, with additional service/parts recommended as work was being performed, was right in line with the estimate, no surprises. No added "Shop fees," or "Disposal Fees," or other last second fees that are sometime added at other shops. More
My vehicle is running great, they perform all of the scheduled maintenance quite well. After searching for almost two months finally a dealer said they could get me a Tacoma in a manual transmission. The truck was slated for Flagstaff and they say they were able to get it, this was on 9/26/ said they could get me a Tacoma in a manual transmission. The truck was slated for Flagstaff and they say they were able to get it, this was on 9/26/2013. After securing the vehicle with a down payment of 50% I was told my Truck will be here by Tuesday. Awesome! On Tuesday I called, I called because they didn't call me. Told them I was off work and ready to receive my truck. Well its not here yet. Dealer in Flagstaff, whoever that is, is dragging his feet on delivering the truck. At this time I was told we should have it in the next couple of days. It is now Friday and they still have failed to delivery. Flagstaff is less than a days drive from Tucson, so whats the holdup? So far all I have heard is xx excuses and I wonder if I put my trust in the right dealership... More
