Friendly and pleasant like the first time After our 3 year lease was up, Desert Toyota called my wife and I. We said that we wanted to come back & wanted to work with them again. Just like our previous experience, the dealership was friendly and pleasant. Anthony was incredible and really went out of his way to insure our happiness! Lack of Service Don’t go to this (lack of) Service Department! I called to schedule an appointment and was told the first weekend appointment available was two weeks Don’t go to this (lack of) Service Department! I called to schedule an appointment and was told the first weekend appointment available was two weeks out. Made my appointment and arrived expecting my truck to be worked on. My “service adviser” wasn't even there on the day they scheduled me. One of the two “advisers” there was too busy sipping on a soda to help me. The other “adviser” was busy for about 10 minutes and when he finally was available called me up to ask why I was there. I informed him I just needed a new key programmed for my vehicle. His response was they were too busy to do that today. What’s the point to making an appointment with the service department? Very disappointed. I will tell everyone I know how bad this service department is. More

Worst experience I have ever had I believe in giving credit where credit is due. When I have poor service I usually just chock it up at someone is having a bad day ( we all have them) I believe in giving credit where credit is due. When I have poor service I usually just chock it up at someone is having a bad day ( we all have them) and I just move on. Not the case in the purchase of my used Tundra. Shame on me yes for even purchasing this truck by once I signed the contract it was down hill from there. The day of purchase we didn't even bring the truck home due to a few repairs. After several days the truck was delivered to me as I live out of town. The A/C was not working and I was instructed to bring the truck in for them to look at. Second time in the shop and I haven't even made a payment yet. After receiving the truck back the problem was still there as well as a few others. Now in the shop for a third time we wait and wait. After numerous phone calls to just leave a message because nobody was every available to talk and obviously to busy to return my call we reached out to the General Manager. He seemed very interested in what was going on and said he would have me an answer the following day. You guessed it...no call back and he to was now never available when I would call. Next we seek legal advice and was told to send a certified letter to them. Upon them receiving the letter my phone began to ring. I was told then by the general manager that he had tried to call several times. Maybe so 15 years ago but with cell phones and voice mail nowadays I just chalked this up to another one of there many lies. I advised them that I am about to make my second payment and have only had the truck in my possession for just over a week. I said just take this truck back I do not want it anymore. Of course that was not going to happen. They did take the truck in and fix most of the problems but the customer service at desert toyota tucson is the worst I ever seen...at least after you sign the contract. I will nor will I recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle. More
