My experience buying my new 2017 RAV4 was also good. I was able to get the features I wanted and also the color I desired. Sales person was attentive to my needs and was able to get the vehicle from another dealership in the city. More

I had explained before arrival we needed a 15000 Mile Lease for 3 years on a Toyota RAV4. Once arriving the sales person was misdirecting and never said that we would be getting a 12000 mile quote. They wanted to be close to the quote we got on a GMC product. They were still $50 higher than the GMC and when I asked to confirm it was a 15000 mile quote he said it was for 12,000 and would be much higher he's very disappointed at how they deceive us and wasted one and a half hours late at night. Their plan from the very beginning was to try and bait and switch avoid them like the plague More

He did not follow through on any of the questions about the warranty and payments. When we talked to Manny, the financial manager, he apologized about the misunderstanding about the warranty on the used car. If it wasn't for Manny we would have left and gone to another dealer. Manny put us in touch with Stan Derricote and we bought a new car and we would give them both five stars. We love our Toyota Camry. More
Never listened and rude TrueCar's comparison options sent my interest in a midsize pickup truck to this dealership and I was contacted by Selene. I explained in detail that TrueCar's comparison options sent my interest in a midsize pickup truck to this dealership and I was contacted by Selene. I explained in detail that I wanted a white four door, 2x4, 6 cylinder, automatic, "no bells and whistles", "go out in the desert" truck. I was assured that they had exactly what I wanted and I agreed to meet Quincy Horton. He showed me a black Tacoma SR5 (a white one was on the lot), with every bell and whistle I never wanted. He took my drivers license, installed a plate and asked me to sit in the passenger seat where I picked up the lamented window sticker. The truck was priced at $33,000 ++++. I told him to not ever bother driving it off the lot because I didn't want to pay for the navigation system, back up camera, sensors, tinted windows, fancy sound system, step rails, hydraulic tailgate and on and on. We got out of the truck and he turned his back on me and started to xx with a couple of salesmen. I was so disgusted that I left without Quincy returning my license to me, necessitating a return trip to the dealership from 40 miles away. Never again. More

Bought a brand new vehicle 02/2015 and have taken it here for service every oil change/service since. Im not one to write reviews normally or write a bad review after just one bad experience. Having that said, I have NEVER had a good experience here. 4 of my visits have all been with the same service advisor and without writing an essay I'll try and sum it up with the main issues. VERY FIRST oil change with my brand new vehicle, my service advisor gets in my vehicle and i swear she must have punched the gas and took a corner like it was a rally vehicle..this is a Toyota 4runner mind you. 2nd visit, i came and picked up my vehicle, waited to be helped and wasnt even acknowledged for a good 10 minutes. 6 people there, maybe 2 of which were assisting people. Finally I approach someone who seemed annoyed that i would interrupt her while she was clearly not busy. She then pages my advisor.. my advisor acknowledges me and i advised im in a bit of a rush(very frustrated at this point but dont voice it). Mid sentence, she notices a friend or someone she knows and just leaves me and goes and hugs her friend and engages in a lengthy conversation. No "hey let me finish helping this guy and ill be right there", no, just total abandonment. At this point her FRIEND..not her, the so called customer service adisor...her FRIEND says, "hey shouldnt you finish helping this guy?", to which point she looks annoyed and then proceeds to help me. Since my vehicle service is covered, I literally just need her to give me my keys and leave, i dont need to pay or approve anything..just need my keys. 3rd experience.. I make an appointment online to be sure I dont get the same lady.. drop my vehicle off @ 9am for an oil change..ask to be called when i can pick it up since i work right up the road. I was given a timeframe of an hour or two, which seems long but I was working so I wnet with it. I dont get a call until 530pm saying my vehicle is ready! Dropped off @ 9am, ready @ 5:30pm. God forbid i need some serious service done! Anyway, I never thought Id be so happy to now be out of warranty so I dont have to go here any more. I love Toyota, I love my vehicle, but this service or lack thereof will make me question a new Toyota vehicle purchase in the future. More

We went into the finance office to sign our paperwork and due to Prior bad experiences, we take a little longer than usual to review everything read through everything. And not once but five different occasions THE SALES MANAGER (PATRICK) came into the office rushing the finance man Mike, who was very professional and insisted that it was not okay to rush a customer with which we agreed. Call me old-fashioned but when you are signing a loan for $30,000 Plus you do not want to be rushed when it comes time to sign for it no matter how many people are waiting!! If you are so backed up then as a manager you should get off your xxx instead of sitting behind a desk bullxxxxing with other employees and do what you can to do Finance paperwork for the other waiting customers. After we had finished signing we decided to go tell Patrick how unprofessional and rude it was to make us feel as if we were taking up too much time, then Patrick thought it'd be wise to tell us that he was not rude and he has enough business he doesn't need ours. If it had not been for the politeness and professionalism of the finance man Mike and our Salesman Mr. Williams my husband would have walked out and told Patrick to shove it where the sun don't shine. Then after we signed and took our vehicle home we got a phone call the next day, since the finance man was rushed he was not able to get all the proper paperwork that they needed no fault of his but of the pushy manager Patrick. We made several attempts to contact the general manager Bob Rockov to no avail. We also informed both salesman before we left that we wanted a phone call from Bob and we have tried to call ourselves and Bob is conveniently never there. We also tried several times via chat on their website to have them tell Bob that we were unhappy and needed to speak with him. Also because of Patrick's negligence we never seen nor signed a Carfax on our 2013 Tacoma! Unfortunately due to the lack of respect for the customer displayed by Patrick and the blatant disrespect To Us by him. We are completely disgusted and will never return to this dealership, nor will we ever refer anyone. If anything we will make sure to tell people to steer clear of this unprofessional establishment Desert Toyota of Tucson!! Thanks for the HORRIBLE DISCUSTING LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM PATRICK!! The Williams UPDATE: I received a call from KENDRA the human resource lady when the conversation started I thought she was genuinely concerned about our experience I told her what happened and how awful Patrick was. I also proceeded to inform her of how awesome and professional the sales Associate Mr. Williams was. She SOUNDED genuinely concerned but then as we are nearing the end of our conversation she proceeded to have the odacity to ask me to REMOVE MY REVIEW.....OMG REALLY?! How rude can this place be....We are entitled to our opinion and we are allowed to leave reviews for a reason, to let people know our experience. For her to ask us to remove our experience that is the rudest thing I have ever heard. So now we will be contacting the state attorney general too. Absolutely disgusted with this dealership! More

By far and Over the past 25 years, I have purchased or leased Toyota cars or trucks from both of Tucson's Toyota dealers and the one in Sierra Vista. By far and away the best experience was Desert Toyota of Tucson, which is why I keep going back there, for both sales and service. My most recent purchase at Desert Toyota was a new Camry, last week. It couldn't have gone more smoothly, with no hassles, or sales pitches for upgrades. My sales rep, Carlos Renova, went out of his way to make it easy for me. And, they met my price and interest rate on the financing. Service has also been excellent and their customer waiting area is also the best in Southern Arizona. More
Excellent service and surroundings Terry has been taking care of us and our two - now one - car since about 2000. He is professional, kind, friendly, honest, helpful, and knowledgeable. We can count on him to tell us what we need, and what we don't need yet or maybe not ever. Under his direction everything has always been done perfectly. And three cheers to Desert Toyota for a lovely, clean, well-appointed lounge where one can wait in comfort, read or watch TV, work on a laptop, have a snack, and sip (free) Starbucks coffee. Highly recommended! More

I knew better than to go here, my husband worked for them a decade ago (he is not associated with any dealership now, he is a math teacher, this was literally like a few months stint when we first got married) so I really should've known better. We were desperate to get a Prius as quickly as possible though, due to some specific circumstances. Anyway, we went in looking for a specific Prius that didn't exist and that they refused to finance anyway, because it was too old? Maybe... like one year older than the one we bought. Anyway, we knew we were going in with bad credit, but we had a cash down payment and a specific budget to work within. Basically, in the end our Prius cost twice as much as the one I came in to look at and my payment was $100 over my budget at 17% (and that's after I went in a cried after they couldn't find financing, saying that I didn't want the car, we wouldn't be able to afford Christmas for our kids, and honestly I threatened to call a lawyer... originally they had the payment at about double my budget). God willing, we have been able to make all of our payments, but the Prius value plummeted to half of what we owe on it just months after buying it, they never replaced our spare tire, they never fixed the small dent in the front, and we have not been willing to go back to them about it. Also, on my sale papers it stated we bought a touring edition, but in reality we do NOT own a touring. They als have their building rigged is that it is basically impossible to get data access, so we couldn't google anything at all. So aggravating. I freaking hate them, honestly. I knew better, I should've trusted my instincts, but outside of that, the should be more honorable. It would've cost them nothing to let us free and do the honorable thing when many, many companies turned us down for financing. We have basically a credit card loan for our car, through capitol one. We can't refinance, because of the plummet in the value of our Prius. And it's a 7 year loan! 6 left and we intend to pay it off early, but still... absolutely disgusting in my opinion. More
