Unhappy with the way things have been handled I won't say that this dealership is totally bad because they did help me in some ways. I purchased a 2015 mazda 3 from the with 51,899 miles on it. After all the warranties that I may have signed for , but never was explained about, I paid over 25,ooo dollars for it. I initially was drawn into the dealership because I had my eyes set on a 2015 corolla! I test drove it and everything, but after running my credit they said I didnt qualify. Out of nowhere they bring me a mazda 2015 and I was questioning how I would afford this since it looked way nicer. The sales guy was just like, some models run cheaper. I am a first time car buyer and I explained to the sales guy that I was sick and tired of my parents cars just breaking down all the time. Well, 5 months later the car breaks down due to sludge in the engine and they(mazda jim click, because toyota said they couldn't inspect the car because it wasnt their product) said I would need to pay 6000 for a new motor. I know that i missed one oil change, but I got an oil change prior to it breaking down and still sludge was all in the valve ports. I found out some information regarding my cars history, maybe things toyota should have told me before selling me this car. Also, my dad was vaccuming my car one day and he said that mud just kept coming up. the car came from Fayetteville, NC and we are thinking it was an unreported flood car. Toyota refused to give me a car fax because they said they wanted to protect their privacy and mine. Prior to asking for one, I already purchased a car fax because I wanted to see if they would be honest and helpful. The costumer reputations manager is very limited on what she can do since every time I call her or have dealt with her she has to speak to someone else.I am still left with an 18,000 loan and I refuse to pay 6,000 on top of that for a new motor. Midas did the oil change and they said that all the fluids were dirty and that the struts need to be replaced. I was willing to see how much that would all cost me and the guy said that this car isn't even worth it and told me I should talk to a lawyer. I have advised people at work not to go here unless they do their research. I cant totally blame them for what has happened, because I should have done my research and not be so overwhelmed with joy for being able to purchase a car. I was very easy to deal with as the sales rep said. More

I really liked the new style and features of the 2019 Rav 4 and was looking at them when I was approached by Robin. He was very cordial and showed me the features and I was impressed with both the vehicle and his demeanor & non pressure approach. As it turned out, I ended up leasing a 2019 RAV 4 LE and trading in the Matrix. The entire experience was pleasant and I felt I was treated with respect and did not feel pressured in anyway. He and his Manager bent over backwards to fit in the costs with my budget and I could not be happier with my purchase. Kudos to the entire Desert Toyota team for making my new car purchase a great experience. More
