Buyer Beware. This is a scam dealership. We have reported them to Better Business Bureau and Toyota corporate. This is what happened: My friend and I called t This is a scam dealership. This is what happened: My friend and I called this Toyota dealership on 9/13 to help him purchase an advertised 2016 Prius, and we were told by the Deluca Toyota salesperson Lonnie that it was available. My friend was emailed a Carfax on it from the salesperson. We agreed on a price and Lonnie told us that they would 100% hold it for us. The service manager even called and assured us that “the keys would be taken and held, so no one else could purchase it”. We got the cash and started driving there (2 hours away) only to have the sales person call my friend and tell him that someone sold it out from under him, but we should still come in and buy a different car. So much for integrity! This sounded fishy so I had two separate individuals call the dealership and inquire about this exact same Toyota Prius. They were told that it definitely was available, and they would “hold the keys so we could come in and buy it and no one else could!” I don’t even believe this car ever existed because I have seen this exact same car from another dealership advertised in the past. I called twice asking for the manager and was told that he was not available and I should leave a voicemail message. Do not buy anything from Deluca Toyota! This is a scam dealership! More
