Michael was very friendly and honest. He took time to walk me around the dealership with me and made sure i had all the information i needed. My expectations were truly exceeded. I, like most did some vehicle research online and decided for the money and the quality to check out Hondas. My research took me to Delray Honda, I went there on Christmas week, needless to say they were bu for the money and the quality to check out Hondas. My research took me to Delray Honda, I went there on Christmas week, needless to say they were busy, but I was assisted by Frank McCarthy who was both knowledgable and friendly even though I said right from the start I was not interested in purchasing a vechicle anytime soon. He answered all my questions, gave me 100% of his attention and even provided me with additional resourses for my research. When I am ready, I will definetly make my purchase at Delray Honda. More
I was working with Coggin of Ft. Pierce on a new 09 Honda Accord Coupe. The numbers were set but the dealer was having a tough time finding the color I wanted. This would have been my 3rd new car at Coggin Accord Coupe. The numbers were set but the dealer was having a tough time finding the color I wanted. This would have been my 3rd new car at Coggin. I decided to do some internet research and found several dealers who had the color I wanted. I exchanged emails and phone calls with several sales staff and decided to drive to Delray Honda for 2 reasons: 1. To see if they could match the deal (no money down). 2. Try to get the car I wanted up to Coggin of Ft. Pierce. I was told by a Delray Honda sales rep that Coggin did the deal knowing they could not find the color I wanted and "took me out of the market" and that it was a cruel tactic. Bottom line is Coggin Honda did not know my color choice until after we agreed on the price. Delray Honda could not offer me the same money deal Coggin Honda did and said that the Coggin deal I got was impossible. Well, the deal was for real at Coggin Honda. While I didn't get my first choice of color I was able to get my second choice, and purchased my new Honda. I found Delary Honda unprofessional and when they threw Coggin Honda under a "Truck" (forget the bus) it made my choice that much simpiler. I was insulted by their "sales tactics" and front pit numbers". How much money is enough for Delray Honda to make on a repeat loyal Honda customer? Stick to your guns and don't give this dealer any "wiggle room" or you'll find yourself in another ball game. More
