I bought a used vehicle from Dellenbaugh. I had it 2 weeks. The motherboard went out. They fixed that. 2 weeks later. We have it towed to them because the driveshaft was cracked. Josh was very nice and was a pleasure to talk to. The car I was looking at already had someone working on to purchase. He did leave me a message that the car was available again. I started researching a new Subaru Crosstrek about a year ago, knowing that my 2012 GMC Acadia was on life support and would not be surviving much longer. I’d become enamored with Subaru’s little Legacy on ago, knowing that my 2012 GMC Acadia was on life support and would not be surviving much longer. I’d become enamored with Subaru’s little Legacy on steroids when they first started showing up in the early Twenty-Teens. When the redesign came out in ’18, I pretty much decided this car would be the replacement for my terminally ill Acadia. I read review after review, and watched YouTube video after video of owner reviews, dealer sales pitches, and head-to-head matchups against their competitors. The only real complaint was that the hamsters powering the boxer engine were a little anemic. So, when the Sport was introduced in late 2020, with a whopping Corvette-like 182 HP, I was sold. I started looking more seriously, spending countless hours on AutoTrader.com, CarGuru.com, and other interweb based car sales sites looking for the “right one”. The Crosstrek Sport seemed like the perfect replacement car. Sporty, great fuel efficiency, all weather floor protection, and seats that would hold up to my four furry canine companions. I’d have preferred a manual transmission, but a sacrifice had to be made. I only had a couple “wants” in new car. A rear bumper protector to keep doggo scratches to a minimum, and an upgraded sound system. I ended up building my perfect car on the Subaru website and sending the “build number” to several area dealerships to get their best “out the door” price. (I live in SW Wyoming and my little town doesn’t have a Subaru dealership so I expanded my search primarily to the Salt Lake City and Northern Colorado area… a couple hour drive in either direction.) In order to get the upgraded sound system, it appeared I would have to order the car, and wait 6-8 weeks for delivery. I hoped by praying to the great car gods in the sky, I could will the Acadia into surviving for a month or two until her replacement came in. Most of the dealer offers were within a hundred dollars or so of each other for the car I built, running right around the high $26-thousands, “Out The Door”. Then, enter Dellenbach Motors of Fort Collins, Colorado. I received a call from Kody with Dellenbach saying had THAT car ON THE LOT. It was even in the color I wanted (Horizon Blue Metallic). I had seen the car he told me about during my web search but saw nothing on the window sticker discussing the upgraded audio system. I said “NO WAY!” He said “WAY!” He then told me that his dealership often installs the upgraded Rockford Fosgate sound systems in one of each model Subaru as a tester so people could hear examples of the upgraded system. Not only that, but the car also had some other options including roof rail cross bars, splash guards, Mirror compass with Homelink, and a couple other things. Even WITH those options, and one other little wish (rear seat-back protectors), Kody was able to beat all of the other prices. I gave him my credit card and put a deposit on the car. Living in Wyoming and having to travel on I-80 to get anywhere in February, made travel to pick up the car a little questionable. Coincidentally, my wife and I have a high maintenance bulldog that has to see a Vet in Fort Collins and we already had a trip to FOCO scheduled a couple weeks down the road. Cody was completely accommodating and agreed to keep the new Subi safe for us for a couple weeks until we could venture over the frozen Tundra that is southern Wyoming during winter. We made the trip last week and picked up our little Crosstrek. Kody took the time to teach an old dog new tricks with all of the technology this little car has, and sent us on our way with our new dog hauler. The drive back to Wyoming was mostly clear, but within a day the weather turn again with snow, ice, and wind, creating some pretty good drifts. The Subi handled it like a champ. What a great little car… I am nothing but pleased. Last point in this small novel. Less than a week after picking up the car, Kody called to check in and make sure everything was good with the car. It was, and having to drive our medically challenged Bulldog back to the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital within a couple week, Kody set up my first service to coincide with our next trip. All in all, I would highly recommend Dellenbach for your next Subaru purchase. They made it easy from start to finish, no high pressure, quick return calls… everything you’d want from a dealership. An airbag was replaced but did not mention a bad airbag sensor which left airbag light on still with no explanation. So from experience I would not recommend anyone to this department. More

I just tried to buy my third Subaru from them and the experience couldn't have been any different than last time. Both Foresters I purchased I felt like I had been treated very fairly and left with a good deal. This time the numbers added up to the fact that the sales manager wanted to make $10K off that one deal. $5K from both sides. The trade offer was low ball and the price on the new vehicle was way over MSRP. Sad because I have been doing business there for thirty five years. No more I"m afraid. It was definitely not Matt's fault and as he said the was just the messenger. More

It was my first new car purchase experience here and I have to say I was incredibly impressed with how they handled business and I will send anyone I know interested in a Subaru to the sales, parts and service teams here. Matt Soto is who I work with in Sales great stand up guy. Answered every single question I had, also incredibly easy to work with. He worked around by busy schedule and we stayed in contact Via text. Marcus Gabriel was incredible in parts, I needed all-seasons for the new car, he got me a great price and had the tires installed before I took delivery. Didn't miss a beat. It took me a week to decide what I wanted but total time spent at the dealership was under 90 minutes, 1st and 2nd visit combined, even through Finance (Buck was also Great!). Needless to say I will be back! If you want an all around good car buying experience Dellenbach Subaru is the place. More
