Usually, I get great service this time. I’m very disappointed. I specifically called and ordered two tires for my car. They have placed the other two tires on my car very recently. I have a tire warranty and as I was into getting a service on my vehicle two separate occasions, they noticed problems with the tire and were quick to have them fixed under warranty. This impressed me that they paid attention to detail. That’s why I always go back to Dellen for my service. This last visit was not the same. As I said, I called and ordered two tires. I wanted them to be the same as the other two that were put on. I could not bring my vehicle the day of the appointment so my husband that has the beginning stages of dementia, brought it in. They asked him if they were doing two tires or four. Well, he didn’t know so he said four. So they took the four tires off my car and put four new tires on. Luckily, I had an alert on my phone for my Discover card that when the payment went through I noticed that it was way more than what I expected. I immediately called Curt and asked him what the deal was. He said that they put four new tire tires on, and I explained to him that I only needed two the other two were newer. He talked to someone in service and explained the situation. I talked to them on the phone and told them that I only ordered two because the other two were newer. My concern is, you can tell these tires that they took off were newer. They still have the things on the side of the tires that new tires have the little bumpy things. Why would anyone in their right mind? Take two good tires off to put two new ones on.?! I have been so upset over this that I’ve waited to do this survey. Part of me wanted to do a Google review, but I have bought several cars from Dellen and all my service is done there. I know many of the people that work there and they are good people. I’m just very frustrated at this situation. And to make matters worse I was charged almost $40 service charged to use my Discover card on a $1300 some purchase for four tires then I was charged $20 again service charge for the two tires. I am so frustrated with the situation. I just felt like they should know what had happened. I still have some oil changes there because of the package that I bought and I will take it and get it done there until the package is finished and then I haven’t decided what I’m gonna do. I really feel that Dellen should credit me the service fees and assure me that they’re not gonna take advantage of people like they did me. If I did not see that mistake I would’ve paid for four tires when two of them aren’t that old. My car is a 2015 and does not even have 50,000 miles on it I do not drive a lot and put a lot of miles on my tires. You can look at my past history on the number of cars that Curtis Yockey and I have purchased there in all the services we have had done. We are loyal valued, or I would hope we were valued customers. This just really upset me. More
