Ive purchased 2 new vehicles and 1 used vehicle from this dealership. The 2016 sorento i bought new from here has needed 3 door handles replaced. Each time on the same door. I went in to get it replaced for dealership. The 2016 sorento i bought new from here has needed 3 door handles replaced. Each time on the same door. I went in to get it replaced for the 4th time and they said they couldnt do anything for me since its out of the warranty period(Im 4k miles over). Its a good thing for me because I will be trading up my 2014 mazda 3 to the new 2020 k5 and now I know that they certainly only care about the sale and not the service afterwards. Shameful customer no service. I will be spending my money elsewhere. The sales staff was very accommodating. But after that youre on your own. Sorry Derrick Wright, but a $40 door handle just cost you a $30k sale! LoL! More

They told him it would take 4-5 days to fix his car's problem (they never explained to him what it was, and never actually put the car on a lift to inspect his complaints), and that he would have to pay for a rental car to get home in the meantime, despite mentioning "shuttle service" and "loaner vehicles" on their website. There's a very good chance that there wasn't even anything wrong with his car, but that, if there was, it could have been covered under warranty. Instead, John convinced him he needed a brand new car with thousands of dollars in upgrades. He was there for several hours and said he was very tired, confused, and just wanted to go home. He told us he didn't know what he was signing and left the dealership without any paperwork for the vehicle he drove away in. It's pretty obvious in talking to my grandfather that he does get confused, and we believe the salesman, John, took advantage of this to get commission on a new vehicle. After this happened, my cousin called to speak to John, and was hung up on when he asked if we could cancel the contract. My uncle took the car back into the dealership to try to speak with him in person, and the sales manager said he "was not a doctor and couldn't be expected to know" that my grandfather wasn't in the right state of mind to make this purchase. When they inquired about his old car just days later, they said it was no longer at the dealership and they didn't know where it was so he couldn't get it back. The entire branch seems fully unconcerned that they just saddled this elderly man with a car payment he can't afford when he was merely looking for an assessment of a vehicular issue. My grandfather put 15,000 miles on a car over the course of four years. He did not need to upgrade to a new vehicle and anyone at a dealership should have known that. Let me remind everyone that this is the behavior being displayed by the DeLand Kia's employees during a global pandemic, after an elderly man brought his vehicle to them for help. This dealership and everyone who works in it should be ashamed of themselves. More

Signed the car in and he showed the way to Customer lounge since the Dealership is Remodeling the normal service entrance. Explained it would take just about 1 hour. When the car was ready he came into the waiting room, explained the work that was done . After taking care of Paperwork with the cashier he walked me to the Car. They have a great Customer Service representative with Noah. Thank you Noah, keep up the good work. More

At the 6,000 mile ser Feb. 9, 2018 I had my 2016 KIA Sedona serviced at Deland KIA on Woodland Blvd. Deland Florida. My Sedona has 12,692 miles on it. At the 6,000 mile service I complained about the brakes pulsating. As I was on my way to Penna. At that time. I was told the time required to road test and repair could be a couple of hours. I said I would have it done at my next service appointment as I could not spend that much more time there. Today after they had test driven the Sedona they confirmed that there is a problem with the brake Rotors. He explained that my problem might have come from the car sitting too long. Really, was it sitting too long when I purchased it? The problem started from day one. The service manager advised me that my Sedona was out of warranty and they had to charge me for the repair. The cost would be one hundred dollars to repair the problem. When I told him at my last service I told the service adviser about the problem, the manager said the service adviser did not write it down. The service manager then offered to repair it for $50.00. I have a life time free oil change with my purchase. I was also charged for a tire rotation which I understood to be part of my original purchase. I received a call from Deland KIA later asking if every thing went O.K. At my service. I explained to the caller what happened and he assured me he would pass on my concerns to Management. I have not heard any thing to date from them. Also I have not yet received the usual review of service from KIA corporate yet. More
