One would not release back to the sitting position. Service agent and his manager both insisting that if they tear down the removed seat and find it the fault of user and not a defect $89.00 per hour. 2-3 hour job! Explained I am a car guy with 7 cars and many brand new cars in the past. You tear down an engine for a rod bearing...not a seat for a release mechanism. Both raised voices. Manager actually stated, in a rude tone, he would remove and take apart the seat and if damage is from user and not failure he would leave the seat disassembled and uninstalled all over the back of the car. At this point I requested he not touch the car and my wife will be leaving the property. Buying experience here is top-notch, friendly, above & beyond! Service here is the worst ever. I thought Ford in 1992 was bad! Never had a quasi-professional tell a customer anything like that ever. When I conveyed that I was there, as the customer, and the seat was not forced down, or jumped on etc... he stated 'well i was not there! Customer no-service + rude unprofessional behavior = Bad service. Great buying experience but apparently the honeymoon ends there. More

Unfortunately, it takes a long time to receive the service every time I have been. Today, I was told an hour and fifteen minutes. Out of the five or six times I've been already, its been 1.5 to 2 hours for an oil change and multi-point inspection. After an hour and a half I walked up front to see my car already parked. I waited another half hour before I had enough and finally inquired. Randy the service manager said three years ago when he took over they were averaging 2-3 hours for this same service and that it will always take at least an hour. Randy did not have anything to say about my car being parked out front for at least a half hour after it was finished, as well as nothing to remedy the situation to keep me feeling good about doing business there. So, if you sign up for lifetime oil changes, be prepared to spend much more time dealing with the service than you would if you bought them from a mechanic who actually cares about retaining customers. If you use the service department, be prepared to have to 'keep an eye out' for your car being finished, otherwise you might be there all day. More

MONICA LEWIS WHO THEN INFORMED US THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR US . ALSO WE ONLY RECIEVED ONE KEY AND ONE REMOTE AND SHE ALSO STATED THAT THEY GOT THE VEHICLE LIKE THAT AND THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE A KEY OR REMOTE EITHER ! SHE STATE WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AT A GREAT DEAL . WHICH IN TURNED I SAID THATS NOT THE ISSUE I HAVE TO STILL PAY FOR THIS VECHICE . ( it not like they give me this car ) I THEN AGAIN CALLED AND THIS TIME THE GIVE THE RUN AROUND . AFTER WAITING ON THE PHONE FOR OVER 45 MIN . THEY SAID SHE WAS NOT IN ( FUNNY THAT WHEN WE CALL TO BUY THE VEHICLE SHE WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE LOL WHAT A JOKE . THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST !!! AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS THEY CHANGED THE BATTERY . AND RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SERVICE DEPTMENT IT TURN OFF . THEY ALSO STATED THAT THE BATTERY WAS BURNiING AND COULD HAVE EXPLODE NOTE ( NOT MY WORDS THERE SERVICE MAN WORDS TO US ! ALSO THERE USED CAR MANAGER (DOUG SOMETHING OR OTHER ) WAS RUDE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . WHO REFUSED US A KEY OR REMOTE THE ONLY REASON THE GIVE US A BATTERY WAS BECAUSE WE INFORMED THEM THAT WE WHERE GOING TO REPORT THEM TO THE BBB AND THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL WHICH IS OUR RIGHT I WILL NEVER EVER REFER ANYONE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM DELAND KIA . took my 2012 Sorento in for 20k service. all personnel in service department very friendly and professional as always. ended up speaking to my salesman Mike Magnum and ended up leaving in the newly designed service department very friendly and professional as always. ended up speaking to my salesman Mike Magnum and ended up leaving in the newly designed 2014 Sorento. Love the car and will continue to return to this dealership for service and any future needs. have already referred one friend who also purchased a sorento and were happy with their experience and love their Kia! When my wife and I were preparing a road trip to Pa in November , we wanted to be sure the eventful trip would go off without a hitch and decided to check out the cars of Deland Kia. We had purchased thr November , we wanted to be sure the eventful trip would go off without a hitch and decided to check out the cars of Deland Kia. We had purchased three cars previously at this dealer (one new and two used.) and were eager to see Kia's new model line up. The optima jumped out as a front runner and a few hrs later we knew our trip was going to be made under the protective umbrella of a 2012 with great looks ,reliability and industry leading warranties. Our trip was fantastic and everyone wanted to hear about our Kia. 6 months later while getting our free service performed on our Optima, we were able to spend the time searching out a second car for my wife. We test drove a 2008 350Z off the used lot and owned it by the time our complementary wash wrapped up the service of our Kia. Matt was extremely knowledgable and never pushed us to purchase, he instead focused on giving us his attention an catered to our questions and needs. It was a pleasant experience I have experienced with each of the now 5 cars I have purchased here in the last 6 yrs. I will not shop anywhere else and am pleased to advise any would be buyers As well as those wanting to browse and get information for future decisions. This is a dealer you will form a long lasting relationship with. Personable knowledgable and effective. Accept no substitute Deland Kia is the real deal.
