Nicole was very attentive and receptive. She answered all my questions and took her time to teach me the system in the car and made sure I understood it all. She answered all my questions and took her time to teach me the system in the car and made sure I understood it all. More
Had a terrible experience at Deland Kia, pushy sales staff attempting to badger you into trading in your poor quality car sitting in their repair bay for what is most likely another poor quality Kia. staff attempting to badger you into trading in your poor quality car sitting in their repair bay for what is most likely another poor quality Kia. I've decided to add some additional context; so that this isn't just brushed off as seething. I also wanted to document some of the issues so that way a savvy buyer may ultimately try to see some trend between the negative reviews. 1 year into owning a brand new 2020 Kia Forte the battery needed to be replaced. ($250). 1.5 years into owning a brand new 2020 Kia Forte (from Deland Kia) the A/C stopped working. We then tried adding coolant, or this and that (at our expense) but ultimately it would give out after a couple weeks or months. ($2685). 2 years into owning a brand new 2020 Kia Forte the key becomes finicky and likely needs to be replaced ($730) dollars. So now we've gotten to the point to be able to leave the car at the dealer ship while they do their $200 diagnostic. But leading up to the appointment a sales person calls to ask about trading in our now 3ish year old car. I tell him potentially in 6 months or so we will be looking for something bigger. (This was probably my biggest mistake.) It turns out that they repair that's needed is a completely new Evaporator core. Surprise surprise were over 60k miles and that has likely been the issue all along. But don't fret, for $2685 they will replace it and that will probably resolve the issue. But do I really want to put 3k more into a car that probably isn't worth 10k now? I don't know, I'd like to think about it. So in an attempt to bring the car home to make that decision in the comfort of our house my wife is berated and made to feel so uncomfortable about leaving the car there that she needs to call me while I'm at work to say shes uncomfortable trying to leave.
