We stopped at the Kia dealership in Longwood and had a difficult time getting them to work with us. On our way to see a used car we drove by the Deland dealership and decided to stop. He sat us down and talked to us about how much we could afford and worked with the Finance/General Manager to get us to payments that we could afford. I love my new Soul and we are very glad that we decided to stop in :) More

I had the easiest, quickest, most pleasant car purchase with JOE NESTORE in sales and JOHN KIEL in finance, after not having purchased a new car for 18 years! All staff at this dealership that I interacted with were kind, polite, professional, and eager to be of service. My comments are the real McCoy -- I wasn't coerced into this recommendation, nor asked to make it. This is now my fifth try and i am goiong to use a different email to see if that works. we bought an optima in february with the help of Mich and Roger. It was a great expperience. we have returned 4 times looking at souls and mich has called us when he got one in in the color and packages we wanted. during these trips no one pressured us to buy until we were ready. we bought our soul on oct 3 from mich with the help of Roger the sales manager. roger gave us a great deal. eric in finance explained everything thoroughly and got us in and out quickly with no pressure to buy any extras. The service department detailed our soul and made sure the pin stripe was painted on before we took it home. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More
My wife & I first visited the dealership on Labor day weekend as we both had the time to finally look for a new car. As we approached the building, Jermaine Lewis, a salesperson, introduced himself and g weekend as we both had the time to finally look for a new car. As we approached the building, Jermaine Lewis, a salesperson, introduced himself and greeted us. We informed him that we were considering a new (2012) Kia Soul because of all the new "stuff" on the 2012. He said that they had only received a couple so far and they went out the door the same day they arrived. (The lot only had 2 - 2011 Souls available for purchase.) We moved into his office where he offered and brought us bottles of cold water. We had researched the Soul on the web and told him that we wanted the Exclaim model but the wife said she did NOT like the sharkstooth or houndstooth upholstery. He said that leather was available as part of the Premium package and explained what else was included (lots - we found out). We had a 21 year old Honda civic to trade and they made us a fair offer and also told us that the Honda allowed us to get the competitive allowance (an extra $500 or $750) off the price of the new car. We selected the color desired (Dune) and he wrote up the paperwork for the transaction. We used our American Express for a down payment and approximately 15 minutes later, all of the paperwork was finished and the car was ordered. At the time, they said it would be approximately 5 weeks before our car came in. He introduced us to the Sales Manager and explained about the excellent parts and service department. Approximately 2 weeks later, we found out that my oldest daughter had wrecked her car and just needed something to drive so we told her to come down and get the Honda. We visited DeLand Kia and explained the situation. There was no problem and we were told to just pay the additional amount that was offered for the Honda ($500). 4 weeks later in the morning we received a call saying our car was in and when did we want to pick it up to which we said today. We arrived around 1 PM and met with Eric Nyaga - the finance director. We went through the paperwork and he explained a couple of the available optional service plans (which we purchased). After about 90 minutes and signing our name about 30 times each. As we were leaving his office to walk out to our car, my wife and I both realized why he was the finance director - excellent personal skills! Jermaine explained all of the controls and functions. He assisted me in hooking up the bluetooth connection between my phone and the Soul. They had already filled up the car for us so off we went. After we got the car home, I realized that that they had installed a couple of accessories without charging us. (the accessories listed for approx. $200). The next day I stopped by the parts department to pickup a couple of custom accessories and he already had our name, car purchased, etc. in his computer to ensure that we were given the proper accessories. We had previously purchased 2 BMW's in the past 20 years and we have to say that the DeLand Kia dealer showed more professionalism and concern for our wants than either of the BMW dealers had expressed. We are now considering trading one of the BMW's in for a Kia Optima - from DeLand Kia. More
We were very pleased with the sales staff, Mike Mewhorter, from the time he greeted us in the parking lot until we left with our new KIA Sorento. The only thing that could have been improved was the overall length of the process, but they were processing several sales while we were there. We will definately be back and do feel that if we have any questions or concerns with our new vehicle, they will be pleasant and helpful! Plus we LOVE the car! More
This is the second KIA dealership I have bought a car from and this one(Deland KIA), is truely exceptional. All shop services that I required to complete the change-over to the new vehicle were offered to me at their cost. Nice. Also they offered to pay for 'lifetime' oil changes which to me is kind of important since I live in an apartment and this is the way to go to maintain my car the way I am used to doing so. So, yes, I would definately recomment this dealership even if they sold another brand of car..!! They have a GREAT TEAM there and I hope they stay together for a long time. Now to send my friends and relatives over there to purchase a new vehicle from them under my recommendation. More
