Service agent and his manager both insisting that if they tear down the removed seat and find it the fault of user and not a defect $89.00 per hour. 2-3 hour job! Explained I am a car guy with 7 cars and many brand new cars in the past. You tear down an engine for a rod bearing...not a seat for a release mechanism. Both raised voices. Manager actually stated, in a rude tone, he would remove and take apart the seat and if damage is from user and not failure he would leave the seat disassembled and uninstalled all over the back of the car. At this point I requested he not touch the car and my wife will be leaving the property. Buying experience here is top-notch, friendly, above & beyond! Service here is the worst ever. I thought Ford in 1992 was bad! Never had a quasi-professional tell a customer anything like that ever. When I conveyed that I was there, as the customer, and the seat was not forced down, or jumped on etc... he stated 'well i was not there! Customer no-service + rude unprofessional behavior = Bad service. Great buying experience but apparently the honeymoon ends there. More

Unfortunately, it takes a long time to receive the service every time I have been. Today, I was told an hour and fifteen minutes. Out of the five or six times I've been already, its been 1.5 to 2 hours for an oil change and multi-point inspection. After an hour and a half I walked up front to see my car already parked. I waited another half hour before I had enough and finally inquired. Randy the service manager said three years ago when he took over they were averaging 2-3 hours for this same service and that it will always take at least an hour. Randy did not have anything to say about my car being parked out front for at least a half hour after it was finished, as well as nothing to remedy the situation to keep me feeling good about doing business there. So, if you sign up for lifetime oil changes, be prepared to spend much more time dealing with the service than you would if you bought them from a mechanic who actually cares about retaining customers. If you use the service department, be prepared to have to 'keep an eye out' for your car being finished, otherwise you might be there all day. More

I had already seen a vehicle that may possibly work to assist in the trade. After going through a few scenarios and indicating I had an approval from my credit union, Dan still insisted he wanted to pull my credit. I told him my score as it had been pulled a couple of weeks before. Reluctantly I agreed, eventhough it does affect the score. He told me he would be in touch soon to let me know. Long story short, it is now Monday, I had to follow up and ended leaving a message for Dan to call me back as he supposively was busy with a client and to date I have no idea of what they can do, if anything nor so I know what happened when they did the credit check. God willing they did not run it via several banks as the it will really hurt my credit score. In the end, I have no odea, 5heir customer care service is beyond poor and my good friend who has bought several card there refered me and I will definately tell him not to go back. BEWARE, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU CALL OR GO INTO DELAND KIA. More

They are told whatever they want to hear in order to get them to drop what they are doing and bring a warm body to the showroom. The cars on the website don't exist at the prices quoted over the phone, the person setting up the appointment does not exist or is not available when you arrive. Again, I found this dealership to be condescending, high pressure, and difficult. Sadly, I made more than one effort to purchase a vehicle there and left with a bad attitude and blow to my self-esteem each time. More

He was very courteous and professional and spent considerable time trying to find the car that met all my expectations. ... Ultimately, I decided Hyundai's Elantra was the car for me. My decision to purchase a new Elantra had no bearing on the excellent service I received at DeLand Kia. My decision was based on my preference for the design, features, drive and price of the new Elantra. ... Robert's friendly personality and no-pressure approach has earned my respect; and I will recommend him and DeLand Kia to others. More

Sales people doubled and tripled team in an effort to intimidate us. Third guy to come in was confrontational from the start, rude and condescending who tried to bully us into a lease or smaller car at their extremely inflated prices. We walked out. You should not even walk in. These people are crooks and do not deserve your business. More
