I researched a lot of cars, and Kia always came out on top for what I needed to fit my needs. I went to the Deland Kia website and applied for a loan. This is where I came in contact with Monica Lewis. Monica was very knowledgeable of the cars, and helped my family with the process of selecting the right car that would fit my budget. We decided on a Kia soul, best decision that we have ever made. Monica made the process as painless as possible, no pressure at all. She took her time and explained all of our options. She went over every aspect of the vehicle top to bottom. Monica was very professional and friendly. The whole Deland Kia staff was very friendly for that matter. Everyone at the Dealership that we came in contact with smiled, introduced themselves to us and asked if we needed anything. It was a great experience. Would I buy from you again, absolutely! Overall my expectations were exceeded by purchasing this 2014 kia sorento, I am extremely pleased and happy with my purschase. But I have to give credit where credit is due the salesman Jason was very calm,patient and persistent to accomadate all my needs and concerns. I have to say I am extremely greatful and appreciative for eric the general sales manager at deland kia because I truly from the bottom of my heart feel that he went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations in purchasing this 2014 kia sorento. In the past at this same dealership in 2011 the salesman at that time advised things to me and didn't follow through for example when my used 2008 was delivered to me it wasn't thoroughly detailed and not full of gas however Jason had my 2014 kia full of gas and in top quality for delivery,i was impressed. Jason also impressed me by taking the time to walk me through all my buttoms to operate inside the car as well as syncing my phone to my kia and setting up my uvo system. This time around the whole experience was like day and night with deland kia. I can defitley tell the difference in the change in management. the passion and honesty is present and the confidence is defitly there. from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone involved to make this purchase possible especially Jason my salesman and eric the general sales manager. I purchased a new 2013 kia optima through this dealer 2 months ago, the salesman jeremey was very nice and accomadating and working with him was an overall nice experience, I got an OK price from them, and months ago, the salesman jeremey was very nice and accomadating and working with him was an overall nice experience, I got an OK price from them, and they worked with me to get financed. When I went to the finance office, I worked with jon, he was very nice, albeit a bit slow, which is understandable considering all of the paperwork. He went over all the packages they sell and I was sold into purchasing the care care package. Upon asking what it was, I was told that it covered many different services all bundled together to save money and that everything would be covered. It cost me $515 and come to find all it covers is a visual inspection and a tire rotation every 5,000 miles for only 60,000 miles! If something is found in the inspection, its NOT covered. Sweet. $515 for tire rotations. I usually do that in my garage for free! Live and learn I guess. First time I had to deal with the service department I had a speaker that would crackle at different frequencies, they said it sounds good to me! So I had to replace that on my own, now I'm having an issue with the sunroof seals and terrible wind noise, I can only imagine what they'll say... Sounds good to me! Would I recommend this dealer...? I'm not sure. I have yet to be given a solid reason to recommend them. The sales team is great, finance needs to completely understand and convey the products that they're selling to the customer and I don't have a whole lot of faith in the service department as of now. I guess time will tell. EDIT - well time told. I made an appointment to have three issues with the car fixed, smaller issues, none of which they fixed. I spent 3 and a half hours at the dealership on a Wednesday morning, they weren't busy, and all I had to show for it was an alignment.... More
