This was my first time dealing with Deland Kia, and also my first time purchasing a car on my own. I had done some research and had an idea in mind what I wanted. I had reviewed the web page for Deland Kia. I found 3 possible choices of used cars from their site. I submitted the information requested. When I arrived, Monica Lewis was paged and arrived to assist me. She was professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. She was able to give me an excellent overview of each vehicle and provided me the ability to drive each one for my evaluation. We discussed the choice and my financial requirements for purchase. She was extremely helpful in working with the sales manager to get me the deal I wanted. This was the most pleasant and stress free experience I have ever had. Using the website made the ability to choose the vehicles I was interested in and when I arrived Monica Lewis was able to assist me immediately with no delay. Upon arriving at a agreed deal, the paper work portion of the transaction went very smoothly. Janet in the finance office was able to get me a better interest rate than my bank had given me pre-approved. My husband and I purchased 2 new cars in July from Deland KIA. We had an amazing sales woman named Charlene. Not even a month after I got my Sorento my daughter and I were driving down I4 behind a truck pull KIA. We had an amazing sales woman named Charlene. Not even a month after I got my Sorento my daughter and I were driving down I4 behind a truck pulling a trailer loaded with portions of a wooden fence. All of a sudden a portion of the fence flew off and slammed into the hood of my car, breaking apart and going under my car. When I pulled over to look at my car, the hood was dented in, scratches were all down the side of my car. I was so shaken and wasn't sure what to do about my car. I happened to be 1 exit away from Deland KIA. When I drove into the service area 3 mechanics came rushing out. And instead of asking what happened to my car the first thing they said was are you guys ok? That impressed me. They asked me what happened and then asked if they could take my car out for test drive to see if it was driving ok and if they could put it in the lift and check the tires and all underneath. When I came inside Charlene came rushing over to my daughter and I. She advised me to call my insurance company and tell them what happened while everything was fresh in my mind. While I was calling my insurance company she took my daughter to get some drinks and popcorn. The woman at the service counter changed the station to cartoons for my daughter. Everyone was so helpful. My daughter and I were there for quite awhile. The whole time I was on the phone Charlene kept my daughter occupied in between helping other customers. Charlene is an absolutely amazing person. I have told everyone about all my wonderful experiences with Deland KIA and especially Charlene. Deland KIA is a great dealership with a wonderful staff.
