I had an overall amazing experience with Deland Kia and with Charlene. This was my first time buying a car, let alone a brand new car, not used. She and her team went beyond the extra mile to help me get the best value for my trade in and to get great financing options. As a young female first time buyer, I felt pretty cautious about the stereotypical "car dealership" experience, going so far as to bring my dad and boyfriend in as back up, but I never needed that. Everyone at the dealership was direct and honest, no shady dealings at all. Charlene really did a great job making me feel welcomed to the Kia family, and I look forward to future business with Deland Kia for all of my future service trips and for another car when the time comes. We arrived at Deland Kia and test drove a 2012 Optima. We were very pleased with the vehicle looks and condition. After the test drive a sales manager was in the lot and asked what we thought. His answer - "I would not want to lose a customer over 200 hundred dollars". So now the original salesman is out. Now there is another Sales Manager has come into the office to negotiate with us. So I go out to look the car over again before I commit to buying. I found a few scratches but the original floor mats are in the trunk and in good condition. We then decide to purchase the vehicle. The next day we came back to pick up our pre owned 2012 Optima, drop a check off and sign some papers. I get one set of keys, the original floor mats are now missing and they did not even fill up the gas tank. The last KIA I purchased they filled the tank up, this time I left with a half of tank fuel. Before leaving I asked about the extra set of keys. I was told that you don't have them and they suggested that I could contact the original owner to see if they still have them. I was the offered the option to buy a key and new remote for a additional 150.00 after I just bought a car from them. I am a repeat customer to Deland Kia within one year however, after this experience I will not recommend them to anyone or purchase a vehicle from them again Randy was good but it is still considered a team when you work together and things go bad they all are included. More
Monica Lewis is an excellent car sales representative who looks out for the customer's needs in purchasing a vehicle. Phil presents himself as a professional and knows what he is doing. All my questions were answered in a way I could understand them. At first I did not want to lease a vehicle. Actually I just wanted information about it. Phil put me at ease telling me it is not as complicated as it used to be. After I told him what I needed, we test drove two vehicles, and he suggested the one with the most residual value so in three years the trade-in equity could be applied to my next leased vehicle. He explained all the "bells and whistles" on the car, and I was excited to find out that I knew I wanted the car I was test driving. After negotiating the price I wanted to pay, I think I made a good deal, and both sides were happy with the results. My friends are very impressed with my "Forte", and wanted to know where I got the car. When I told them DeLand KIA, they asked why did I go so far to get a car, and I told them they had the best deal, and highly recommended them to do as I did. Along with Phil's great sense of humor, we got along just great. This was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had, and highly recommend you to ask for Phil. More

I owned a Kia Sportage EX for 12 years up North in New York. I loved it. The warranty and the way Kia makes their vehicles are excellent. In looking for a new vehicle having recently moved here to Florida, I decided to check out Kia. The facility is beautiful. They have many Kia's to choose from. I was surprised at the price I paid that I was able to walk out with a brand new 2014 Kia Sorrento. It is bigger than the Sportage so I guess I have now upgraded. The inside is absolutely beautiful. I happen to keep my vehicles for a long time so I am looking forward to dealing with Kia in Deland for many more years. I'm a happy new Kia owner!! More
Monica and the staff were amazing. We got there at 5pm and left at about 9ish I think, and they close at 7pm. They never once made us feel that we were a bother because we were there after closing. We apologized and said we would come back and Monica said no worries we are fine. They all wanted to be sure we were as comfortable a possible through out our visit. We left there feeling so excited and how much we liked all the folks that worked a Kia because they were so nice. We drove away in our new car with smiles on our faces. Oh, one more thing, Monica was such a love and took Kathy's phone and set her up with the blue tooth feature. Who would have taken the time to do this several hours after closing.
