I am a 73 year old female and USAA member for over 40 years who hadn't bought a car on my own in more than 30 years so I used USAA's 'car buying service' when in the market for a new Kia Soul S&S !. USA years who hadn't bought a car on my own in more than 30 years so I used USAA's 'car buying service' when in the market for a new Kia Soul S&S !. USAA recommended 3 USAA certified dealerships in my area, all of whom contacted me to come into their dealership to look at the 2014 Kia Soul !'s. While each dealership and saleperson I worked with were all great, I bought my 2014 Kia Soul ! @ Deland Kia because of Phil DeRosia. He was a great listener, very patient, totally informed on the cars he sells, answered all my questions and stayed in contact with me and on top of getting me the car I wanted from the day I met him until the day I picked up my new car. Since then, he's followed up to be sure I am completely satisfied with both his dealership and my new Kia Soul !. I am totally happy with my new car and I thank Phil for making, what I thought was going to be an intimidating car buying experience, into to one of the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experiences ever. I would have to say as far as the customer service received... she was top notched. This started out as one of the best experiences I have had with a KIA dealership until I was called to pay a difference in the payoff of my trade-in. I wasn't upside down and clearly said before stepping foot into the dealership I would not be putting a down payment of any sort. This is what this feels like... a down payment or a blunder now that I have to fix the dealership made to the previous lender. The car has been in my possession for almost a week and to find this out and see a receipt which was just sent to me that says DOWN PAYMENT is disenheartening. For the amount of the purchase - KIA clearly could have taken care of this. More
