I had already seen a vehicle that may possibly work to assist in the trade. After going through a few scenarios and indicating I had an approval from my credit union, Dan still insisted he wanted to pull my credit. I told him my score as it had been pulled a couple of weeks before. Reluctantly I agreed, eventhough it does affect the score. He told me he would be in touch soon to let me know. Long story short, it is now Monday, I had to follow up and ended leaving a message for Dan to call me back as he supposively was busy with a client and to date I have no idea of what they can do, if anything nor so I know what happened when they did the credit check. God willing they did not run it via several banks as the it will really hurt my credit score. In the end, I have no odea, 5heir customer care service is beyond poor and my good friend who has bought several card there refered me and I will definately tell him not to go back. BEWARE, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU CALL OR GO INTO DELAND KIA. More

They are told whatever they want to hear in order to get them to drop what they are doing and bring a warm body to the showroom. The cars on the website don't exist at the prices quoted over the phone, the person setting up the appointment does not exist or is not available when you arrive. Again, I found this dealership to be condescending, high pressure, and difficult. Sadly, I made more than one effort to purchase a vehicle there and left with a bad attitude and blow to my self-esteem each time. More

My decision to purchase a new Elantra had no bearing on the excellent service I received at DeLand Kia. My decision was based on my preference for the design, features, drive and price of the new Elantra. ... Sales people doubled and tripled team in an effort to intimidate us. Third guy to come in was confrontational from the start, rude and condescending who tried to bully us into a lease or smaller car at their extremely inflated prices. We walked out. You should not even walk in. These people are crooks and do not deserve your business. More

Definitely know your stuff before you go to this place they have about 10 different ways to screw you and don't care if you can afford the payments or not. And when I say they lie, I mean they actually tell you what you want to hear and put what they want on your contract. They'll push papers at you mentioning the small stuff and leaving out the big stuff. Then when you get home and actually review the contract and realized you got screwed, they'll tell you there ain't **** you can do about it because you signed it. Lesson learned for me but BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Corporate will definitely be hearing from me, I don't think they'll like to know that these type of people are representing them as a company. More

Bait and Switch I found a vehicle on Car Guru and spoke to a representative of Deland kia. I was told that the vehicle was available. After driving 90 minutes and ar I found a vehicle on Car Guru and spoke to a representative of Deland kia. I was told that the vehicle was available. After driving 90 minutes and arriving at Deland Kia, the salesperson told me that they were sorry but although the vehicle technically was not sold, I would not be able to see it because it was at auction. They said it was brought there that morning. (I spoke to the person in the afternoon) They then attempted to show me other vehicles that were no where near the deal originally advertised. This to me, is the old bait and switch maneuver. I find this to be unethical and bad business practice. I immediately left. I will however, rate this dealership on every site rating opportunity I can find. I dont appreciate driving my family 90 minutes to be treated this way. More

ALSO WE ONLY RECIEVED ONE KEY AND ONE REMOTE AND SHE ALSO STATED THAT THEY GOT THE VEHICLE LIKE THAT AND THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE A KEY OR REMOTE EITHER ! SHE STATE WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AT A GREAT DEAL . WHICH IN TURNED I SAID THATS NOT THE ISSUE I HAVE TO STILL PAY FOR THIS VECHICE . When finished, I met with financing, who was also nice and pleasant, and completed the transaction. It was a great experience. More
