Miscommunication over replacing a radio Normally my husband and I have a great experience with the service center here. Our latest visit, however was filled with a lot of miscommunication. M Normally my husband and I have a great experience with the service center here. Our latest visit, however was filled with a lot of miscommunication. My husband scheduled an appointment for an oil change and to replace his radio. The service rep gave my husband a quote, to which my husband agreed. The day of the appointment, however, we dropped off our vehicle and got a call 2 hours later confirming that the radio needed to be replaced and that one could be ordered. My husband explained that he'd already had this conversation when he scheduled the appointment and thought one had already been ordered. The rep then explained that they are not able to order something like a radio without prepayment. So when my husband went back to pick up our vehicle he tried to prepay for the radio and reschedule for installation. The clerk he spoke with this time said prepayment is not required. Overall we were thoroughly confused since we were being told different things from different service reps/clerks. This whole experience, and the need for 2 visits instead of 1, could have been avoided with better communication. More
Tried to rip me off I made an appointment over the phone to have my oil changed and a multi point inspection done on my Toyota Prius. When I arrived to check in, the service advisor said we are doing a 190,000 mile maintenance today. I said no, just an oil change and multi point inspection. I asked if he had the correct record in front of him. He said yes and would update to just the oil change and multi point inspection. I asked how much it would be and he told me $40.00 plus tax and wrote that on my service sheet. When my car was complete, I went to the cashier desk and she told me $78.00 please. I said for what? I told her it was supposed to be $40 plus tax and that’s written on my service sheet. She told me somehow someone wrote the wrong amount and she will look into it. Then the service advisor came by and apologized and said we will do it for $30 for the inconvenience. This dealership needs to stop trying to rip customers off with their shady tactics. A first impression says a lot and you just lost a customer. More

Go to DEL TOYOTA for ALL SERVICE and SALES I had my car windshield replaced at Malvern Toyota...what a mistake. Service is extremely poor. When I came to get my car they couldn’t find it. When they did locate my car it had 25 miles more on odometer. Take your time and drive your cars to, DEL TOYOTA. Outstanding service all the way around. Exceptional service from, Pat who works in service. She explains everything that is needed for the car. Wait time isn’t bad at all. Buy your Toyota’s from here...can’t beat the price! More
