This is a review from the perspective of a car salesman. These days, there are more bad salesman than any other point in recent history. Many of the salesmen I've met are very clearly only interested in their paycheck, and they seem to assume their customers are idiots. I've had salesmen somehow not expect me to notice problems like the starter screaming like a banshee when I turned the car over, or the car simply refusing to turn right, or rattling like a tin can in a hurricane every time you put your foot down, but this dealership is the exception. Dishonesty is one thing. Everyone has situations where being dishonest is the best thing to do, but put some effort into it. I came here to look at a '99 Porsche Boxster, expecting the usual blatant lies and lazy deception. First positive was tue store dog, Olive. Being greeted by a smiling, wagging dog was an immediate plus. She was a bit freaked out by the masks everyone is wearing, but you can't expect anything else from a dog. Adrian was the salesman I dealt with. He knew exactly what to say, knew to listen more than he talks, and knew what to show on the car and when. He took genuine interest in what I was saying, rather than just waiting for me to shut up so he could push something on me. He didn't mention the IMS bearing recall until I asked, a definite good move as those engines are very reliable once that issue is fixed, but people who don't know much about cars tend to panic when they hear "recall", even if it doesn't really matter. These guys know what they're doing, they genuinely care about what you say. You can only make money in this business by treating people like your friend, and these guys know that. More
