When I went to pick up my King Ranch I spotted an F-250 Ford Super Duty Diesel that I just couldn't let go by without taking a look. When I was out looking Chad Heinig came within seconds to see if there was anything he could help me with. He was so knowledgeable and non preassuring that I just had to call my husband and have him come to Deery and test drive the F-250. It was love at first site and Chad Heinig and Patrick Eads did a grand job in making it become a reality that we are now proud owners of a New 2011 F-250 Ford Super Duty Diesel. Needed a car for my son, who wanted to try a Focus. He was a pleasure to work with, as was E.J. Lehman, the Sales Manager. They could not have been more friendly, courteous, accommodating, etc., despite it being a holiday weekend. After some test driving elsewhere and deciding to go with the Focus, Kayvon checked other dealers, found the model with the exact colors and options we chose, and seamlessly arranged for the car to be brought in promptly and at no additional cost to us. Admittedly, we did not end up negotiating much over price—-the car was not just sitting on their lot--so we were probably good customers in that sense, but there were some good rebates at the time, and the resulting bottom line price was quite reasonable based on what I found the going rates to be on the internet. We were cutting it close on the rebate deadline, but they made it work with no hassle even though they did not originally have the car in stock. I spent about 6 months researching the Ford Fusion, Hondas and Toyotas for my next purchase. During that time I have visited various dealers of both used and new cars. Models change and I will never buy a car on impulse. Three things are important to me when buying a car; the product, the integrity of the dealer, and the long-term service relationship. In addition to several other company's cars, I have owned 3 or 4 Ford Taurus cars as well as 2 Ford trucks in my life, each of which I've driven to about 130,000 miles with the exception of one catastrophic wreck when I was T-boned by an unlicensed driver. In each case I purchased them because they are a good product with the features (like crash protection) I am looking for and not because I feel any particular allegiance to the Ford company. During the life of these cars I have seen dealers and service departments, both good and bad, come and go. The Deery Brothers and their employees Scott Leedom and Scott Newhouse, have impressed me as being one of the best dealerships I have dealt with in recent years. 1. My first experience with the Deery brothers was through the service department, Deery's had recently replaced a horrible dealership that I would do anything to avoid. I found the newly established Deery's service department to be honest, timely, and accurate in their estimates. This brought me back. 2. My experiences with the sales department have been excellent without exception. The staff have provided honest, intelligent, informed answers and friendly advice without pressure, and displayed an genuine interest in the product they were selling. These are qualities that have become an exception and the reason I bought a new Fusion from this dealership and did not travel 200+ miles to buy a cheaper used Fusion or another car from another dealer, as I was entirely prepared to do. I hope that Deery Brothers do not change what they are doing and will still be here when it comes time to replace my car, this is the first place I will look. Steve Strait More

I was in Iowa City doing some shopping and drove by Deery Motors. I noticed several Escape SUV's in their lot so stopped in to take a look. I was planning on getting a new vehicle next month so wanted to see Motors. I noticed several Escape SUV's in their lot so stopped in to take a look. My husband was with me so we talked to Scott about wanting to look at the Escape. Scott invited us in to the show room while Scott Newhouse brought one to the door. We went for a test drive and liked what we saw. Back in the show room we visited with Scott Leedom and he presented an offer to us. We explained about not buying until next month but Deery Motors gave us a very good offer and we accepted. They didn't have the color we preferred so they found an Escape they could get in a few days. When we went to pick the Escape up my husband asked about undercoating the vehicle. Instead of a later date Scott Leedom and Scott Newhouse said it could be done that day and they would drive our new Escape to our house. We are very pleased with the customer service we received at Deery Motors. Our time spent with the sales gentlemen was very good. More
