Deano's is a great dealership! These past reviews are awful of what a great dealership they really are. I have been buying my cars from Deano's for over twenty years. He is an honest and trust worthy individual who makes sure you are put into a great car! The people who probably reviewed this were people with poor credit and trying to steal the car practically. It should be said, but apparently some people expect so much out of a 4,000 car. Your buying a used car, not a brand new one. I know Deano is a good guy, I brought in my car that had an issue and he fixed it right away. The person who reviewed this before, you must not understand that down payments are essential for financing vehicles. Especially the way the banks are today because of all the stiffs who corrupted our housing market back in 2007. I highly recommend Deano's and everyone should take a look at the inventory that they have! More
I bought a 2002 pontiac grand am It looked beautiful price was a little high but was willing to finance me and I was buying my first car. I test drove it and it needed new brakes he fixed them so i had price was a little high but was willing to finance me and I was buying my first car. I test drove it and it needed new brakes he fixed them so i had no problem purchasing the car. When signing the paperwork he also put that I had put 1000 down for the bank to see when i never put anything down and opened an account with out my signature at the bank. (didn't know this till after) I was told to take it to his mechanic for the inspection sticker knowing some things about cars i know that's an immediate no. I took it to my mechanic and surprise it failed it had no horn. Went back and he fixed it a week later the ignition lock went he said he wouldn't cover it even though it had a warranty. I fought for 3 weeks to get some of the repairs returned to me along with the tow bill. Finally after calling and complaining my father called and then showed up and he finally agreed to pay 3/4 i ended up getting less than half. This dealership is a fraud they are rude and the vehicles are not worth it i have already replaced the ignition lock, brakes , tires ,the entire engine block , exhaust manifold, and cadillitic converter ive spent enough to replace the car entirely NEVER buy a car from here your just a sucker if you do. I found Deano's on Autotrader. When I arrived at Deano's, he was friendly and trusting. He didn't even ask me for my license before I test drove a Honda Accord that I was interested in. The Accord was on sal he was friendly and trusting. He didn't even ask me for my license before I test drove a Honda Accord that I was interested in. The Accord was on sale for $4,300. After test driving the car, I asked for a car fax. He said he didn't like car fax because it was incorrect most of the time. This was the first red flag that I should have heeded. After getting my own car fax that cost me money, I saw that the car had been in two accidents and that at 125,000 miles, the car had not recieved a new timing belt and water pump that every Accord needs around 100,000 miles. Seeing that the car had been in two accidents, I decided to have a mechanic take a look at the car. Before bringing the car to a mechanic, Deano had told me he would repair whatever needed to be repaired. In good faith, I trusted that he was telling the truth in that he would pay for any repairs that the car needed. Therefore I brought the car to a mechanic which was another expense for me, and I found out that the car needed more than $1000.00 worth of repairs. I brought the car back to Deano with a list of repairs, and he told me that he would get back to me the following Monday with news. Needless to say, he never called me. I checked back on Autotrader and he knocked the price down only three hundred dollars!! I called him immediately and he proceeded to tell me that he would not fix the car that I had checked out. He said that "the car didn't need the repairs," when in fact, he simply did not want to deal with the repairs because he would not make as much money. My mechanic said that the car definitely needed the repairs and instructed me not to buy the car unless the repairs were paid for by the dealer. Consequently, I wasted my time and money on this lying xxxxxxx dealer. Currently, he is waiting for some naive consumer to come along and overpay for the junk he is trying to sell. I'm happy there is a website that offers dealer reviews so somebody out there knows about this guy. More
Deano's Auto Sales have been in their location for as long as I can remember. I have never stopped in there because I haven't been in the market for a vehicle for a long time. Recently, I did stop in f long as I can remember. I have never stopped in there because I haven't been in the market for a vehicle for a long time. Recently, I did stop in for the very first time because I am in the market to buy a pre-owned Ford van. They had one on display, which is what caught my eye. As I was looking at the van, sales employee "Joann" came out and introduced herself. She answered all my questions, and asked if I wanted to take a test drive in the van that they had on their lot. Because I had an appointment, I said I would call her back and schedule a test drive with her. I also said that I wanted to do some on-line research into the engine that was in the van prior to doing a test drive. That was Sunday of the week. The next day, Monday, I called "Joann" and scheduled a test drive for Thursday of that week, with my wife. She said fine, and she also said that if someone else was interested in buying that van between the time we were talking, (Monday) and Thursday when I made the appointment to do the test drive, that she would call me and give me "first dibb's" on the sale. That Wednesday, she called my house to make sure everything was still "on" for the next day and the test drive. I called her back and said "yes". My wife and I took a 20 mile test drive on that Thursday. To make a long story short, even though I liked the Ford van, we did not buy the vehicle because it had a very large, powerful 10 cylinder engine that I just did not need for my every day activities. But, if the vehicle would have been "right" for me, I would have bought it from "Joann" and that dealership. And the price on the van was very fair. I would highly recommend that if you were in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, that you check out this dealership. More
