Straightforward pricing and great customer service I live 275 miles from the dealership. All communication was by phone, email, or text. Initially I worked with Brent who was quick to respond and answered all questions in an easy to understand manner. As discussion got more serious about possible purchase, Scott got involved as well. Even though he is a manager, Scott responded quickly to all communications. Again Scott answered all questions straightforward without any typical dealer double talk. The online price was a real price, no hidden dealer add ons, didn’t have to use any special financing, etc. The online price was the purchase price. I dealt with VW dealers in Utah, Illinois, Maryland, and Florida. While those dealers all had a good online price, there was always something hidden that made the actual purchase price significantly higher. Not at Dean Team VW, online price was the real price. Dean Team price was the best I found in searching several dealers in several states. Dean also had the lowest paperwork fee of any of the dealers. Scott arranged car delivery to my home. There was a small fee but the fee was cheaper than if I went after the car myself. I had two small issues that I found after delivery. One I found a few days and the other I found about three weeks after delivery. One issue was quite small and a customer service rep (don’t remember her name) dealt with it immediately. The other issue was a slightly bigger. Scott dealt with the issue personally. Scott responded as quickly in dealing with the issue as he did when he was trying to sell me the car. He appeared genuinely concerned that the issue be dealt with in a timely manner to my satisfaction. I have purchased around 25 cars in my lifetime. I have never had an easier time working with a dealership than I did working with Brent and Scott. Everything was straightforward and clear, no double talk, no hidden fees or add ons. The online price from Dean Team was better than what the price was at multiple other VW dealers in other states particularly when I found other dealers had hidden fees and add ons. While I expect prompt service when the dealer is trying to sell me a car, Dean Team provided prompt care in resolving a couple of issues I had post delivery. I certainly didn’t expect the manager, Scott, to take his time to personally handle the issues. I plan on buying more cars in the future. After my experience with Dean Team VW, Brent and especially Scott, I most certainly will be calling them when the itch for a new car strikes. My only regret is I didn’t find them sooner in my car buying life. More

The level of care one typically receives from every employee of a dealership is phenomenal and something to depend upon. This was not my experience of Dean Volkswagen. Never have I encountered a dealership that does not offer courtesy transportation for simple needs. Dean offers rental cars through Enterprise- which has proven to be more headache than help. All I required when taking my car in was a ride back to my primary vehicle. I had car seats, school pick ups, and dinner to make- a rental car was simply a burden. I was told that the $50 charged to my card would be fully refunded. I was in fact only given $12.66. When brought to their attention I was given some ridiculous excuse. I was made a promise, Dean did not follow through. They have been given two opportunities to rectify the mistake. Both times failed to handle the situation as one would expect. Customers have less and less control in today’s corporate America.. Knowing just how little a customer is valued is something I wish I had known before taking my car into the Dean Automotive Group. More
