I purchased a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Diesel sedan from Dean Team Ballwin. Sales experience was outstanding. As part of the purchase, all maintenance was included for the first few years, so I have been Dean Team Ballwin. Sales experience was outstanding. As part of the purchase, all maintenance was included for the first few years, so I have been taking my vehicle there for routine service. Have also had to take the vehicle back for a couple of unsecheduled repairs, including a timing belt that broke and an oil leak that proved to be very elusive. My first service visit was excellent. The next several visits - both for routine and unscheduled service - were less than excellent. In particular, the level of communication from Service Department was less than acceptable, and my confidence in them as a reliable service provider was pretty low. Not sure what was going on but it seemed they had lost some focus on customer service. I am very pleased to report that the last two service visits were much improved. In particular the last visit I would rate "5s" across the board. They even took care of a couple of recalls that I was unaware of (received notification via mail from Volkswagen about a week later). In all the last service visit exceeded my expectations, and as of the last encounter, they had increased my confidence back to where it was after the first service visit. More
This was my first time to use the Dean Team service for my Subaru Legacy. I left the car off at the Night Drop off on a Sunday and Eric was quick to call me on Monday with the prognosis (check engine ligh my Subaru Legacy. He took care of all the details regarding the issue and efficiently handled working the extra steps with the leasing company. I was out of town, and he handled all the details for me. When the problem was resolved he called promptly, and informed me of the extra work that could be done while I was out. Eric was prompt, friendly, and looked out for the every need of my company car...even had it washed and ready for me when I returned late Tuesday evening. His service made me believe again in the standard of workmanship delivered at a dealership, far superior with my vehicle than any I have experienced in a very long time at DOBBS or Jiffy Lube. More

My husband was traveling from Ohio to Oklahoma when the emergency lights came on in his VW PASSAT as he neared the St. Louis area. Back in Ohio, I called four VW dealerships in St. Louis who turned down my request for an emergency appointment because they were booked solid. Then I called Dean Team Subaru Volkswagen and, although they were also completely booked, they "didn't want to leave us in trouble in the middle of a long distance trip." MARK and JEFF squeezed us in, fixed the problem (which turned out to be a recall) AND also fixed another recall airbag issue. THEY ARE TERRIFIC in our book! Very thoughtful and caring despite their busy schedule. We highly recommend this dealership. Obviously if their service department treats customers so well, their sales staff must be wonderful as well. More
I went to Dean Team to look at a VW Jetta and when we went back it was sold. The salesman Neil Smith switched us to another vehicle although used was in great shape. I had them repair a few flaws with it and I kept hearing the same noise, Jeff in Service Department took the car for almost a week until they finally had to send it out to the appropriate dealership. It took almost a week and two visits but theyt were determined to make the car right. Needless to say they gave me a 2011 Hyundi Sonata to drive until they got it fixed. A great TEAM and superb Service Ceneter and many Kudo's to both of them. More
I came in on a saturday to buy some power steering fluid for my 01 jetta and the service department was closed, I walked inside to the sales floor and as soon as i walked in they asked if I needed help. This dealer is a half hour drive from our home but we go there because of how well we're treated - we get a loaner while the car's in service so that we can do our shopping! What a luxury! Folks if your power steering pump is whining and under powered, its not the gear box assembly, its the pump. I drove away with a hefty repair that did not solve what I went in for. One positive note: A smiling person brought me my car freshly washed. More
