I was happy with bringing my car in for a quick oil change as a walk in at Deacons. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This was so convenient for me. This dealership is horrible. The service dept lacks professionalism, competence, experience, and integrity. They ignore the requests for diagnostic and lie about the service they provide. They said they also perform a "multipoint inspection" but that is completely false, they did not. A female service advisor informed me that they take a "glance" at the vehicle, and that's what their "inspection" is. I would warn others to find another service dept. I traveled from Chicago, Illinois specifically for service related to a Recal and Defect that caused my Airbags to fail in my Jeep Rubicon a 2nd time. I had to take my vehicle to another service dept. when I left Deacon's. They lied about the service they did on my car. I will never return. Beware of this place. The good thing is that I documented everything and this horrible experience allowed me to write and publish an article on LI, regarding the experience and lies, and also to provide warnings to consumers on what to look out for at dealership service departments. I had an appointment with the sales manager to buy a used car. I drove out there and the dealer had me meet with another sales guys and he told me the car I had an appointment for was sold. The Sales Manager did not have the respect to tell me himself. No one had the courtesy to call me before I drove an hour each way to get there. I would recommend not doing business with this dealership. If this is how they treat their customers then I would go somewhere else to do business. They started out with good communication, but could not pick up the phone when it matters. More

Upon inspection of the vehicle pieces if metal shavings were found when the oil was drained. The dealership was unwilling to make any part of this right, stating they were not legally responsible. They also stated if I had purchased an extended warranty it would have covered a new engine, however this was determined to not be true according to my attorney. I of course expected work to be needed on the car, but you don't expect the engine to fail! I don't know how a business owner could allow this to happen, not want to make it right and still sleep at night. I would not recommend anyone to buy a car here. I will make sure none of my family, friends, or co-workers make the same mistake I made by purchasing a car here. I guess this is what these car companies are resorting to in order to make money these days. What a shame. More
