I have cold air!! Whenever I need to come in, they are very accommodating at Deacon. They offer a ride if you need to leave your car. They offer coffee, tea, juice, water, biscuits. The waiting area is very comfortable chairs, a tv, good lighting. The bathroom is very clean. Every thing is explained so that I understand. Pulled codes w/out testing the battery Went in because I got a dash warning that the stop/start program needed service. I told them at the beginning I thought it was the battery because the start/stop had stopped cutting in weeks earlier. They apparently didn’t test the battery because when I left with an appointment for two days later I stopped at Advance and had the battery tested. It was all but dead. New battery. No more problems. Hmmm. Guess it wasn’t an EMS... I think that’s what he said. I was so mad I don’t quite remember. More
Sales Manager was not a man of his word!!! I am a car guy, and have bought at least 50 new cars since the early 80s.. And because I'm often looking for a very specific car, I have bought from I am a car guy, and have bought at least 50 new cars since the early 80s.. And because I'm often looking for a very specific car, I have bought from many dealers east of the Mississippi. What started out as a good relationship on the first car I bought in 2016 and having it shipped 300 mi., I followed-up with and ordered a second car in 2018 from this dealership. This purchase was a complete opposite. Because the car was a extremely limited edition, I worked out a verbal agreement with the sales manager that he could showcase my car on the dealer showroom floor for as long as he specified under 3 conditions, that he first put a clearcoat protection on the entire car, rope the car off, and tint the windows. He replied that he would do all three if he could keep the car for 2 weeks. Even before the car was on the floor, he reneged on putting the clearcoat on the entire car. I acquiesced and we then agreed to do just the clearcoat on the front clip. Even after changing the original agreement, the only thing he did that he agreed to was tinting the windows. The car was on the showroom floor within an hours of delivery to the dealership, no clearcoat and not roped off. When the car was delivered to Florida, I discovered a mini-bra clearcoat had been installed. When I called him, he said to take to a local installer and send him the bill. So, I had the full clearcoat installed on the front clip and sent him the bill on June 22. To-date, no reimbursement! I've called the dealership multiple times, too many times to, left a multitude of voice mail messages, and received a multitude of excuses. They now no longer put my call through, today stating "He's busy and can't take your call." What's interesting, I was already talking to him about ordering a 2019 and trading in the first car I bought from this dealership. Fortunately, I had made the decision not to order and give them a deposit until the clearcoat issue was resolved. So, it appears like Deacon Jones Dealerships are just like the other big multiline dealerships. DO NOT TAKE THIS DEALERSHIP AT THEIR WORD. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, OR BETTER YET, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, I AM..... More
