1st impressionas are not everything After being disappointed by several other dealerships in the Wilmington area, we decided to visit Deacon Jones. It was a pleasant experience and we di After being disappointed by several other dealerships in the Wilmington area, we decided to visit Deacon Jones. It was a pleasant experience and we did purchase a new Chrysler Pacifica. The price was good except for the additional warranty we were forced to purchase for $2000. This is not an optional warranty. Months in, we needed service to fix a light and a scratch. The scratch was "covered" under that non-optional warranty but they refused to repair. Actually they kept the van for almost 3 months and forgot to service it. That mechanic was fired, says the manager. Now a year later, they over charged for an oil change... almost $200 and seven showed which brand oil and filter they used. Advanced auto sells it for $42. So how does an oil change cost $150+ for 20 minutes work? This dealership prides on giving a great first impression to make the sale and quietly rips off their customers when they make you pay for a warranty they do not actually honer. The manager Bruce, is a liar and plays the sympathetic very well. Always buy German!, pay more... it's worth it. More

Motor replacement Needed We took the Jeep in because it was using about a quart of oil every 500 miles when driven on a trip (this was at 16000 miles). We did oil consumption We took the Jeep in because it was using about a quart of oil every 500 miles when driven on a trip (this was at 16000 miles). We did oil consumption test and everything they asked us to, but still could not get the problem resolved. Finally, at about 31000 miles they finally decided to replace the motor.
