I purchased 6 discounted oil changes when I bought my truck from Deyarman. When I went in for the last of my 6 oil changes, I was told that I didn't have any oil changes remaining, but I knew I had 1 lef truck from Deyarman. When I went in for the last of my 6 oil changes, I was told that I didn't have any oil changes remaining, but I knew I had 1 left. At each of the last three oil changes, this issue has come up and I always had to go and get my paperwork to show them that they were wrong. Two oil changes ago they told me they had a new computer program and all of the pre-paid service changes had not transferred correctly. During the oil change, the Service Department saw that my tires were not wearing evenly and so they did some additional inspection and found that I needed some front-end parts. The cost was estimated to be about $1100. I decided to set up an appointment to get the front-end work done and also take advantage of a tire special that they were going to have the following week and replace all 4 tires. Later that day, I was called and told that my extended warranty would probably cover the front-end work. During that conversation, I made the comment that I probably should go ahead and get fuel filters changed if I wasn't going to have to pay for the front-end work, but I didn't say to do it because we weren't sure that the front-end was going to be covered just yet. So, I took my truck back on the following Tuesday to get the front-end work and the new tires and I was told that Ethos had approved the work under warranty. The fuel filters were not discussed before I left the dealership. I didn't receive a call about the truck being done late in the afternoon, so I just caught a ride with my wife to the dealership when she went into town. I was told that the truck was done but the paperwork wasn't finished, and the warranty work needed another signature before the vehicle could be released. So, I then was told that I would be called the next morning as soon as the sign off took place. Shortly after 12 noon, I called to see why I hadn't been called yet and got no answer so I left a message. Two hours later I called again and ended up leaving another message. I waited about 15 minutes then asked my wife to just take me to the dealership. When I arrived, they apologized for not calling but they were still waiting for a signature! I was told that they would release my truck since everything showed that the warranty work was approved. I was told that the oil change expense was erased but then I saw that they changed the fuel filters, and that $314 expense was added to my tire bill. After a brief discussion over that, I let that issue go because I was going to get the filters changed elsewhere soon anyway and I could understand how it got mixed up in the earlier conversations. Then came the paperwork, nothing simple about that! The only way I knew what my total was, was a note in the lower left corner on one of the pages. The paperwork showed my total to be about another $900 but they said that wasn't right. They said their system just makes them do it that way. I am glad that my prepaid oil changes have been completed so that I can go elsewhere, except for my warranty work. My issues with this dealership and their service department issues over the years have worn me out! More
