Service Dept. Did Not Perform Work My 2016 Camaro has a transmission shudder. This is a well documented problem with this year camaro. There are GM bulletins stating what steps should b My 2016 Camaro has a transmission shudder. This is a well documented problem with this year camaro. There are GM bulletins stating what steps should be taken to determine what work needs to be performed by the GM service dept. I left my car on a Monday afternoon. I received a call on Thursday that the work was complete and that there was nothing wrong with the car. I arrived to pick up my car and asked if they performed the correct tests and the service manager said no. I then called the GM coustomer care and opened a case because they had already determined there was a problem with the transmission and performed the first steps per the GM bulliten. Then DeNooyer service manager told me they did perform the test. I asked for the results. After a few days the service manager told me they did not do the test. They had the car a week and did nothing!!! Now i need to bring the car back for them to perform the test. This is warranted work on a new car. Not Happy! I worrie about leaving my car in there lot (door dings, etc.) and wonder if they will get serious about taking care of the GM coustomer More

Routine service - oil change, tire rotation etc. Dropped the car off for 9am appointment. Had prearranged for shuttle service when I made the appointment. Got to the appointment at 8:45am. Cars were backed up to drive into the service area. When I went inside to the service desk at was acknowledged right away. However I was told there wa no shuttle service as the driver had already left to go to Schenectady. I needed up taking Uber to my office. I received a call on my cell at 9:42am. I was in a meeting and could not take the call. No message was left. I called three times to check to see if my car was ready. First time I called general number and was asked my name and vehicle type. Provided the information and was asked to hold. I then was transferred to the service department and was greeting with a recording that stated if you know the extension of your service rep please enter now. Well I wasn't given that info before she transferred me. Called back 15 minutes later and same process. The third attempt a not so pleasant woman answered asked me for my phone and then name and the car make. Not sure why she couldn't locate by my name alone. She told me the car was ready and I could pick up any time. I picked up the car around 4:45pm. Women at the service desk handed me the service report and keys. All who I dealt with were very curt, no pleasantries like good morning, hello, thank you for your business.........I realize the service department was very busy, but being courteous goes a long way for customers. This is not a reflection of the young man who checked me in, just my overall opinion of the entire service department. More
