Before I begin, please note I am Ford retiree and know how business should work.Previousy bought 3 vehicles from Anderson Ford which was purchased by Demontrond Ford in July 2019..Usually easy ,no pressur how business should work.Previousy bought 3 vehicles from Anderson Ford which was purchased by Demontrond Ford in July 2019..Usually easy ,no pressure. My lease came due in June 2022 and decided to purchase vehicle.Usually this should take about a half hour.The lease end process at Demontrond ws xxxx. Get to dealer on June 30,2022 at noon.First I get preliminary paper work with a $500 add on to process purchasing lease.Tell the person processing fee not permitted and refuse to pay add on. I sit at the desk of the person processing paper work and after sitting for 2 hours he comes back and paperwork looks correct.Then I noticed an add on fee of $500 over residual..Though I leased from Anderson it was actually owned by Demontrond.The F&I manager added fee to markup lease.Then find out he was fired.Amount was at bottom of original contract which you would;d not notice. Another hour goes by.I am asked how I am going to pay for unit?Said by personal check.I am told the only way they can accept my check is to run a credit check on me or I have to get a cashiers check.Previous customer and bought 3 units from this location with personal check. I drive back to my bank(25 minutes) get cashiers check.Then drive back to dealer.Then finally sent to F&I office and of course trying to sell me things I don't need. Be smart and find a Ford dealer that cares about customer who may try to build relationship for future business. This dealer should not be in business or needs rraining from Ford how to treat customers. More
I researched for the best deal online and had the option of traveling over 2 hours to this dealership or another in the DFW Metroplex. I CHOSE POORLY and went to Demontrond. The quoted price (by Alex)...o of traveling over 2 hours to this dealership or another in the DFW Metroplex. I CHOSE POORLY and went to Demontrond. The quoted price (by Alex)...online (cargurus), on the phone, and after asking multiple times for the OUT THE DOOR price with any add-on fees was 29k + tax. After I arrived on the lot, the price went up by $3200 and although Alex was there, he was busy in the back. The new salesman couldn't explain why Alex did not disclose the add on fees....it was a classic bait and switch. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company. They will lie to your face, waste your time and jack up the price when they get you in the door. Poor business... poor character by employees. More
Had truck listed for $51995, ask for buyers order so I could see numbers, never was given, until papers were signed( rushed) the dealers add $3000 on top of the price for restoration fee, that I knew abso could see numbers, never was given, until papers were signed( rushed) the dealers add $3000 on top of the price for restoration fee, that I knew absolutely NOTHING about regardless of his lies saying I was told, the only thing done to truck was new tires $800 and a windshield that was not broke in the listing picture( sales manager had been driving) oil had not even been changed since dealer acquired vehicle . The finance manager( AMY) lied and said only way to get lower interest rate was to buy extended warranty ( called finance company they said they NEVER require the extended warranty that’s up to the customer.) they don’t show the selling price on buyers order only the total after adding taxes. I returned to dealer ( Eric/salesman was not in) I spoke to someone else wanting an explanation of these restoration fees ( like my finance company advised) the man I spoke to said honestly he couldn’t tell me because they acquired the vehicle from another dealer in that condition and did not do anything to the truck . I was told new battery ( lie original battery) .... this dealer is one of the slimy dealers, so just beware! Fault of mine.... I should have looked over the papers I was signing better! More
I wish i could rate them as extremely poor with no starts. Very disappointed with the service I received from your used car sales division. Ran credit and never called back. Wait FOREVER I took my car in to have 2 new tires put on it and an alignment. This took 4 hours. In the process, they broke a valve and sensor. They have made mistakes, but has corrected them without a problem. As many dealers it seemed that they started trying to sell more services. On this trip they didn't try so I was happy that they didn't. They only asked if I wanted the tires rotated. I will have them do it next time. As a senior citizen I don't want to do it myself any longer. I also bought parts and they called me as promised so I could drive back to pick them up the next day. So yes I drove 90 minutes two days this week to spend my money at this dealer. More
