From owner Jon to service manager Joe to shop techs and porters, all the Delong team is knowledgeable and courteous. And Woody outshines all with his ability to go the extra miles to make sure the customers are more than happy. I call or stop to see Woody for my needs. I trust him to the point that I've bought a couple cars without even test driving - I've only checked to see if my golf clubs fit correctly, If they do, I tell Woody to get paperwork ready & I'll be back with a check. Last Saturday morning my husband and I test drove a used vehicle at one of our local dealerships here in Wilmington IL. We took it to our local mechanic to get checked out and we found out how bad it reall vehicle at one of our local dealerships here in Wilmington IL. We took it to our local mechanic to get checked out and we found out how bad it really was. He advised us to NOT to even consider this vehicle. We explained our situation, financial and all to him and he asked us if we ever heard of DeLong Ford in Dwight, IL. We replied no. He said to definitely contact Woody there. He's bought from there several times and said he'd treat us right. So we returned the other vehicle and immediately checked out DeLong's inventory online and we actually did find a used vehicle that interested us and that could possibly work financially for us as well. Being retired, limited income can be challenging at times. Anyway, we called and we spoke with KelliMarie, she was very kind, sweet, informative, patient and accommodating with us and our questions. Being we called 25 minutes before they're closing and living 30 minutes away, she offered to stay late for us. We immediately left to meet her and see the vehicle. She was extremely busy but you would never have known that by how she was with us. She was great! She looked out for our end of things too. Made suggestions with choices, etc. We loved the vehicle and felt completely comfortable dealing with her. We locked up the deal right then and there and took delivery this past Wednesday where we finally met Woody. He was so prepared with all the paperwork that it was done in the shortest time we've ever done purchasing a vehicle. He even found a better deal for us with the financing and the extended warranty too! He was extremely kind, respectful explaining every step of paperwork we were signing. We left feeling very confident with our experience with Woody as well! We NEVER once felt the experience we were receiving was any less than someone that was purchasing a higher end vehicle!
