My fiance and I did a lot of research to narrow down what we were looking for in a car. Once we knew what we wanted, we spent a lot of time searching dealers that had what we wanted. We checked out some dealerships closer to where we live (Davenport, IA), but were very unsatisfied with the experiences we had. We widened our search to include dealerships closer to where I grew up (Streator, IL). We had heard from family members and family friends who have done business with DeLong Ford that it would be a good place for us to check out if they had something that matched up with what we wanted. They actually had 3 Ford Fusions that met our specifications, which made the trip there well worth it! Woody was great to work with--he gave us plenty of time to look over the cars we were considering by ourselves without hanging over our shoulders like some salesmen at other dealerships we checked out had done. At no time did we ever feel pressured to make a decision right this second (yet another thing that can make car shopping a very stressful experience). Woody also worked with us to get us a better interest rate than the local credit union had offered us. You can bet that when we look for our next vehicle we will check DeLong first! More
