Best of all there was no pushy salesmanship. The decision making was left up to us. Everyone in the office was friendly and responsive to our questions. Our driving experience has been great. We feel the Ford Escape handles and responds in an excellent manner. The front seats are comfortable and one does not feel tired after a long trip. We have not tried backseat riding on any of our trips. Actually it is fun to drive! More

Well-worth the trip to Dwight I called Woody from sales after seeing a listing for what is now my 2004 F-250. The truck was exactly what I was looking for and the price was the best I'd seen. I live 75 miles away and did not want to make the trip if the truck was a lemon (and at the price it was going for, I wasn't that sure). Woody said that he hadn't driven it, but he'd ask one of their mechanics to ride with him so he could give me an honest opinion. He called me back within an hour to let me know how it rode. That's the kind of treatment I wish were more common among businesses. I made the trip the next day, and after being handed the keys and looking the vehicle over well, I realized that the online pictures were very accurate, it rode great just like Woody told me over the phone, and I didn't feel misled about anything. I was also allowed to drive the vehicle by myself without a chaperone. I don't know if any other dealers do that, but that hasn't been my experience in the past. In fact, I had the vehicle out for almost half an hour. My past experiences with test drives is that they want you back in ten minutes or less! With the dealership being very close to route 47 and 66, I was able to focus on the mechanics of how the vehicle rode and how it sounded instead of paying attention to traffic lights and speed limits. I was able to test the truck the way I wanted to without pressure to bring it back right away. When I got back from test driving it, I wasn't made to feel like I needed to buy a truck to help some sales guy make their monthly quota. As I type this, I really realize how unique my experience was at DeLong Ford. In fact, I knew that Woody was honest when he said, as we were discussing whether I liked it enough to buy it, that I could bring it back the next day to see if I wanted to keep it. At this point, I'm sure this review sounds fabricated, but everything I've said here is the honest-to-God truth. I'm not a mechanic, but the vehicle seemed to be in excellent condition both on the exterior and mechanically. I was offered a good price for my trade-in, so I felt good about buying the truck. The paperwork went very quickly, and the guys even waxed it up for me before I left. When I got home, I brought it to my mechanic who gave it a thorough inspection and he found only minimal mechanical problems. For the price I paid, it was a fantastic deal. I don't know if I'm forgetting anything, but let me sum it up by saying, "DeLong Ford: Highly Recommended!". Thank you, Woody, and DeLong Ford. More
