Purchased two cars from Delillo and both experiences were extremely positive. In both cases, the pricing was fair, the salesmen were professional, and our interactions with the general manager were great. We extremely positive. We bought two solid and reliable cars for a fair price and couldn't be happier. More
Worst service department. ruined my vehicle. been 2 months and they still haven't fixed my issues and keep trying to get me to take the car back without fixing the issue. W ruined my vehicle. been 2 months and they still haven't fixed my issues and keep trying to get me to take the car back without fixing the issue. Went into service on 7/14/22 because my rpm gage was jumping and ac wasn't working. Phil in service told me to get my transmission harness replaced to the new updated harness (simple fix) from what Phil in service told me. I received the car back for the first time a month later on 8/15/22. My issues werent fixed. Rpm gage still jumping. Ac not working. The car wasn't even washed. It was covered in so much dirt you couldnt even see the black paint under the dirt. had not been touched or cleaned the entire MONTH it was there. I had Manny from sales and Wendell the sales manager take pictures of this issue. not washing the vehicle caused multiple paint issues, ruined my roof with bird droppings that had oxidized through the clearcoat. My right exhaust was bent. scratches and dents everywhere on the vehicle. and my partial vinyl wrap was ruined due to pitting from improper care. After addressing the issue with the service manager Mike, and the bodyshop manager Art, they have been giving me the run around for over a month, currently 9/17/22 and I still don't have my vehicle. They keep saying they are going to fix my issue, then I will go a whole week without hearing anything from them. each time I have reached out asking they tell me different information. First they said they would fix the exhaust, fix the roof and paint, and fix my vinyl wrap. Then a week goes by and no updates, at the end of the week I reach out, they tell me the car is done after I contact them. I go to the dealer today only to find out that none of my issues have been solved, exhaust is still bent, new scratches on my vehicle, my trunk was left open for some reason and now Art the body shop manager txt me saying the vinyl wrap is a service issue and has to go through service after saying on the phone to me and multiple other people that he would fix it. Mike and Art have been doing nothing but giving me the run around. Mike sent me to art to have my issues fixed, and now Art keeps trying to send me back to mike. Neither of them want to own up or fix the issue. It's 9/17/22 and I still don't have my car and none of my issues have been fixed. I dropped the car off on 7/14/22. Avoid this Dealership like the plague. They will ruin your property and do anything and everything in their power not to fix it. The Service department has one goal, and it doesn't involve helping the customer in the slightest. A family owned dealership that won't even right their own wrongs... They will destroy your vehicle and leave it sitting in dirt, act like nothings wrong and take no responsibility. More

You will not believe h So you’re thinking about buying a car from DeLillo Chevrolet? Here’s my advice...pump the brakes and fasten your seatbelts. You will not believe how my wife and I were treated by this dealership. From the salesman all the way to the general manager. I will cite dates and times and include photo’s of text messages sent from the salesman to my wife. A little background on us. We are Huntington Beach residents. We have raised 7 adult children that are now between the ages of 23-31. We are both High School teachers and I was the Men’s & Women’s Head Track Coach at Golden West College for 29 years. We are well established in this community and between both of us we have a few thousand former athletes and students. I am 60 years old and have bought plenty of cars (new and used) from a variety of dealerships. So my wife wants a convertible Camaro and she finds one at DeLillo Chevrolet right here on Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach, about a mile and a half from our home. We visit the dealership on Tuesday 3/30 in the afternoon. We look at this silver 2019 convertible Camaro. The sticker was like 22,995. We like the car. I notice these scrapes on the passenger door and point them out to the salesman, Justin Bond. He asks me, “If I get these fixed, would you be interested in the car?”. I respond, “get this fixed and I will buy the car”. He goes to to get this cleared with his manager. He comes back out and says, “the car will be fixed by Friday. Can we make an appointment for you on Saturday?”. We agree and make an appointment for 9:00am Saturday (4/3). He calls us on Friday (4/2) and tells us they discovered a problem with the convertible top and since it is still under warranty, they are going to get it repaired but the car won’t be ready until Monday (4/5) because they are getting it repaired “off site”. So on Monday (4/5) at 12- noon, my wife gets a text from another salesman named John Buhs at 12 noon. He states, Justin is out of the office and they are waiting for the car to arrive at the dealership. My wife asks when we can come over. He says, “I’ll keep you updated”. He then says the car will be ready tomorrow (4/6), I hope that works for you. Then today, (4/6) John sends a text at 2:26pm saying the Camaro will be here at 4:30pm. My wife arrives at 5:00pm and is told the car is currently being sold to somebody else. My wife calls me, I head over to the dealership to talk to the general manager, Tom Gardner. He really has no interest in the story I just told and basically tells me, “That’s how we do business”. So at this point, it’s no longer about the car but more about how we were strung along by the entire sales staff at DeLillo Chevrolet and how they completely led us on, wasted our time, and deceived us through the entire process. I highly recommend you DO NOT do business with this dealership. I will be sharing this review on every platform related to purchasing automobiles. I am also reporting them to GM consumer complaints and I will be sharing this story with Mary Barra (CEO of General Motors) and the local BBB. Buyer beware! Stay clear of DeLillio Chevrolet in Huntington Beach. Please view my photo’s to see the text conversations between my wife and the two salesman Justin Bond and John Buhs. Matt Simpson More
Got fraudulent mislead to buying the car after end of lease My mom got mislead/scam into buying a car from them. She leased a Chevy volt and the lease was up so she went in and see what options did she have at My mom got mislead/scam into buying a car from them. She leased a Chevy volt and the lease was up so she went in and see what options did she have at lease end. She was presented with 2 options: 1. To pay the over mileage fee + end of lease documentation fee and and return the vehicle or 2. To purchase the vehicle at agreed price and no over mileage fee or lease end fee will be due. My mom went with option 2. 2 days later we received a letter from GM financial saying we owed them ~$1100 in mileage fee, my brother brought in the letter and the salesperson wasn't on site so customer service asked my brother to leave the letter and they will find out the problem and will call us if there is anything wrong. We didn't receive any call or follow up from them so we thought it has been taken care of. Fast forward 9 months, we started to receive letters and phone calls from GM saying that we still owe them the money. When I called the sales person he denied making the promise of waiving the over mileage fee and claimed he presented different options and we chose the one that still needs to settle the mileage fee even with the purchase of the car so we are still responsible for it. If my mom would have known she is still responsible for the fee then she would most likely went with another options and just end the lease. More

She was knowledgeable, very professional, and got me through the paperwork quickly. It's the fastest car buying experience I've every had. and I've bought a number of cars over the years. Honestly, this is the first American made vehicle I've ever owned but I've heard such great things about the Volt that I thought I'd take a chance. If the car works anything like the purchasing experience I had at DeLillo then I'm in for a fantastic ride! More
