This is the first time I would be a customer at Toyota of Daytona. When I showed up for my appointment time several people in the service area could not find my appointment, and did not have me listed for my 2 o’clock appointment. I had to revert back to the name that I was given over the phone and asked for Tonya. It was then that she was finally able to find my appointment and to fill out the necessary paperwork. There was also a problem with logging my Vin number into the computer system that seem to be giving her issues as well. I printed out a promotion for A gift card with purchase of oil change, that appears on the Toyota of Daytona website. However, nobody in the service department knew about the promotion, how it worked, how I was to receive the gift card, or redeem the gift card. So I sent a talk to somebody in the sales department. so after walking to the other side of the lot and speaking to a few people in the sales department, someone finally knew about the promotion and told me that I myself had to get online, click the link on the website and enter in the receipt number in order to generate the gift card. After an hour and a half my car was ready and Tonya went to speak to the parts manager to inquire about a damaged rear hatch back handle that I had asked her To check into it and get an estimate. Rather than giving just the price, the parts manager reprimanded her and some others around for not entering information into the computer correctly and then proceeded to lecture me on how to avoid damaging the rear handle while using it. I had to then tell him, “we just bought the car from someone else and it was damaged when we got it.”. I felt like his attitude and also reprimanding others in front of customers was very unprofessional, also there were some service techs, young gentleman in the break room wearing light blue Toyota T-shirts or polos, who also were very unprofessional whilst speaking to each other I heard lots of swearwords F words, S words etc, as they were discussing their college classes. Tonya didn’t outstanding job trying to take care of my needs, but many of the others in the area were extremely unprofessional. when I returned home and tried to click on the website for the promotion, the new window and link does not even work. It became impossible to pull up the window to enter in the receipt number for the gift card. So I guess I will have to call on Monday. More

Ash, I came to you for help and I trusted you! I am a VERY upset customer and if you couldn’t handle it you could have gone on your way and sent me to someone else. I don’t appreciate how you were angry towards me, the customer. I had one issue to be fixed However, I seem to need to return every week. The service department stinks! You told me “No more freebies” meaning what? I recorded the service manager while checking my car. He states that the work on my car could have been better. I picked up my car with a leak that wasn’t there before dropping it off. He also states that I received and alignment when I bought new tires. Now, a month later my alignment is bad. I’m not sure who I need to contact because I’m blocked by everyone who listens to C.M. Service advisor. I have had very difficult time. I tried to explain that she’s has been spiteful and you responded with there are two sides to every story. Seems like you picked yours. I dropped my car off at 7:50am to Mark I. And he pushed my case off to Cio M. My car wasn’t complete until after 6pm. She NEVER puts in anything that I report! I had to come to you to get as far as I did. Too bad I didn’t think to show you my phone. So thanks for making me feel like crap! I’m not looking for a handout. I have a job and a Toyota credit card. Everything I have reported has turned out to be on Toyota...... BTW my water leak was from a plug they didn’t put back near the flywheel. (Stated by service manager in video) My car also needed a alignment which should have been done when I purchased the tires per the service manager. Disappointed that I had to get upset! More

Amanda in the parts department was superior!!! Wow! I've always avoided Daytona Toyota to do and type of work and would drive dozens of miles just to get warranty or ANY work done on my vehicles. Then I met Amanda, on the phone, what a breath of fresh air. It was like I was in a different universe, after being bounced around 3 different times to get my passengers airbag replaced I got Amanda! She not only listened to my issues at Daytona Toyota but liked to hear my HORRIBLE experiences at my personal bank, I think she was just sharpening her skills, dang shes really sharp. Then she scheduled my parts replacement so I didn't have to be another basketball on the phone. I'll be trying to recruit her out of the company ASAP. Please dont praise her or give her a big raise in salary she deserves. Thanks. More
Great Service in a Pinch! I work down the road from this dealership and they were more than willing to help me with checking my battery because I commute from an hour away for I work down the road from this dealership and they were more than willing to help me with checking my battery because I commute from an hour away for work and was concerned about driving home and getting stranded. They took every possible step to figure out what was going on with my battery and look at the history on my car and discovered that my battery was covered under warranty and it didn’t cost me anything for them to replace my battery and I was worked in with other cars without an appointment and was still in and out within 1 1/2 hours. I will definitely buy my next Toyota from them when the time comes to get a new car. More
