The person who set up my paperwork asked a nice valet to bring my car into the garage and he didn't care that it was raining! About 45 minutes, everything was done and perfect. Thanks, Toyota Service. More

After nearly 6 months of which I have been without my primary transportation, I am writing you for your help regarding the lack thereof from your employee, Colin Toro. We are on the third supplement from primary transportation, I am writing you for your help regarding the lack thereof from your employee, Colin Toro. We are on the third supplement from Geico for repairs that were not completed properly at your shop. Furthermore, Colin has repeatedly avoided returning phone calls and emails regarding correcting this issue, to me, to Geico, and to the Schumacher CDJR shop where the vehicle has been since it was picked up from your location. My truck was towed to your shop for repair from a car accident on Nov. 24th. It remained there until Feb 2nd when Colin instructed us to pick it up. Upon picking the vehicle up, I noticed several things wrong. I jumped in the truck and the check engine light was on, in addition to other lights. The rear passenger light was constantly illuminated, pieces of the floor covers were missing, the bolts on the front passenger wheel well were missing, and the driver's door handle was loose. I live in Boca Raton, so I had a three-hour ride ahead of me and asked for them to be fixed before I left. Colin was able to correct the check engine light before me leaving the shop, however, less than 100 miles down the road my truck began to make a loud scrapping noise, and the front was shimming and making popping noises on turns. I pulled over, and called the shop but it was closed. The next day, Saturday, Feb 3rd, I finally got Colin on the line, and he said that I could take it to another shop and that they could fix it. I scheduled an appointment with Schumacher CDJR for that Monday. On Saturday am, I pulled off the rear wheel and discovered that the heat shield surrounding the drum was flat against it causing the noise. The kicker is that when I sent those pictures to Colin to show him what I found, he said that his tech, "never took the wheel off" to check for damage. This is on the side the vehicle had both doors repaired completely!! Almost $30k In damages and you don't check the entire side of the collision? Unbelievable. Fast-forward to today and all of us are still awaiting a response from Colin to take ownership of this and do the right thing. We have clear evidence of negligence, a documented history of the lack of communication, as well as picture evidence of the part that his team replaced, having not repaired properly the first time, on top of the fact the workmanship and final product were subpar. I didn't even get into the fact that I don't believe that the vehicle was ever road tested as should be your S.O.P. because if that was done, all of these things would have been caught, and the vehicle would have actually been ready for customer pickup upon my arrival. You don't call a customer who lives 3 hours away and tell them their vehicle is ready when it's clearly not. That is bad business. I expect your company to pay the $3,251.98 to properly repair the truck by the end of May. Colin has the quote and pictures, but I have attached them, along with the 6-months of email communication for you to get up to speed and make a solid decision. More
