Great dealership for its sales and service and with the overall way they operate and treat its customers. I have a 5 year and 4 month old 2019 Toyota Tacoma with only 48,000 miles that I purchased from Day overall way they operate and treat its customers. I have a 5 year and 4 month old 2019 Toyota Tacoma with only 48,000 miles that I purchased from Daytona Toyota. About 2 weeks ago my engine light came on and after a diagnostic test was completed it was showing a P11EC-00 and also a P1605-00 code. These codes represent a Cylinder 1 air fuel ratio imbalance, and engine rough idling. I was informed by one of the service managers a few days later that Toyota would only cover the parts and I would be liable for any labor. Which would be between $4,000 and $5,000. I did receive some help from the service manager Aaron Garcia and he was able to lower the price for labor to roughly $4,120. I've used Daytona Toyota for all of my service from the day this vehicle was purchased. So, without saying I was beyond words that I should have to pay any labor charges at all. It was then that I reached out to the GM Gib Dannehower and explained the situation. A day later he contacted me and assured me he was looking into it and was going to reach out to his REP and see what could be done. The next day my old salesperson DJ Garry contacted me and said Toyota was going to cover the charges with the exception of a few hundred dollars and Daytona Toyota would take care of the rest. That meant I would have to pay nothing! If I had not reached out to Gib and DJ I would have been out over $4,100. Daytona Toyota stood by their customer and helped me when I thought the worst. I am so grateful to GM Gib Dannehower for standing up for his customers and making sure that I did not have to pay one penny. On top of all this they even gave me a 2024 Tacoma loaner at not cost to me for almost ten days. Thank you Gib and Dj and Daytona Toyota for saving my thousands of dollars in labor costs. straightforward information and reliable service. Sure dealership prices may be higher, but you get an entire organization backing up your repairs. That works for me.
