No eye to detail lots of little mistakes So far, my experience with Kia has been bad, lots of marginal mistakes, no eye to detail on their part. I mean they are friendly and all, but don't seem to be on the ball. Each item would not be an issue on it's own but they add up to a distressing picture of incompetence on the part of this organization. Up until the last couple interactions I was fine with their mistakes, but I have yet to have an interaction with them were they do not commit basic errors. 1 - Was misquoted some numbers on mileage by the salesperson not a big deal as one should look at the documentation for such things. So I am OK with this but only bringing it up in light of further mistakes Kia Daytona has made regarding simple numbers. 2- Kia's financial person made mistakes on my financial paperwork, I had to return multiple times to sign new documentation, on one visit was told to sit and wait and then waited over an hour only to be told that I had to wait more (to literally just sign new documents) 3- When they sent me an email for my car's first service, they provide the wrong address in their email (they send you to the dealership instead of the service center) 4- I called to inquire as to how long the service visit would take, was told 30 to 45 min over the phone, when I show up they tell me an hour and half. None of these things are a big thing on their own (and were I even more nit-picky than I am I could add a bout a dozen minor customer service mistakes to the list), but these are clear signs of institutional incompetence and I do not trust this organization to do the detail work needed to keep a car well maintained. More

I received excellent pro-active service from both the department Manager and especially from the Assistant Service Manager Tim Speckman that went beyond my expectations. Oil change, Mike goes above and beyond to care for my car I recently went in for an oil change.
