Had the best buying experience here at days. They were extremely patient and helped us find exactly what we wanted. Adam and Carson answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. Beware! !! This service department will tell you all sorts of things are wrong with your vehicle that are not actually issues then be rude when you can't affo !! This service department will tell you all sorts of things are wrong with your vehicle that are not actually issues then be rude when you can't afford their prices! Worst service department ever! We have purchased 2 new vehicles from this location and will NEVER go to or recommend Days Chevrolet Acworth to anyone! We had a vehicle towed to the Days Chevrolet Service department (this was not a vehicle we purchased at Days). The vehicle arrived on Friday and they called on Tuesday with a list of issues that totaled up to $4300! we originally took the vehicle to Days with the expectations that our extended warranty would cover the cost. We were informed that NONE of the issues were covered under warranty. Since this was a vehicle we had not had long we contacted the dealer we purchased it from and they wanted the vehicle taken to a different service center for a second opinion. When we notified Days of this they were rude and wanted to charge us a little over $800 for the compression test they performed. When asked why the compression test was so expensive they stated it was 4.5 hours labor to perform it. The reality is they called us at 8 am to get permission to do the test and 11 to tell us the results. So it couldn't have taken 4.5 hours to complete the test. Brandon the service manager was beyond rude when we told him we would not be having the vehicle repaired there and made the comment they don't like diagnosing issues just to have the a vehicle repaired somewhere else. So basically they decided to charge us as much as possible for the diagnosis. Then to make it worse Brandon would not take a card payment over the phone and made us drive to the dealership to come in and pay for the compression test. His reasoning was because we had never had service there before (keep in mind we have purchased 2 new vehicles from this dealership in the past) The shop the vehicle was taken to, didn't find near as much wrong as Days was claiming. So after paying $724 ( Brandon finally agreed to subtract 1.5 hours of labor since we had proof that their compression test didn't take 4.5 hours) we had the vehicle towed to another repair shop in the same condition as it arrived at Days. Never again Days Chevrolet of Acworth!!! If you're looking for an honest mechanic please consider Jason Ivester at Carterville Muffler. More
2018 Tahoe I'm not an easy customer, I have bought a new vehicle every 2-3 years my entire adult life, so I know I think I know the ends and outs of how dealers I'm not an easy customer, I have bought a new vehicle every 2-3 years my entire adult life, so I know I think I know the ends and outs of how dealers jack customers around. I dealt with a good sales rep named T.J via email for about two weeks....first about ordering a specific model of Suburban, equipped the way I wanted it as opposed to the way a dealer orders them for the masses. I just couldn't pull the trigger on ordering one, because you WILL pay very, very close to MSRP on it. (If someone knows a way to order one and get a deep discount on it, please let me know!). Anyway, I decided to go a different direction and hold off. A couple of weeks later, I was driving by and thought "what the xxxx, let's see what's on their lot" and pulled in. This is where it get's good....I parked my RAM 2500 and got out and walked around for 20-30 minutes looking at their inventory and not one person accosted me. I liked that. In fact, being jumped as soon as I pull on a dealer lot is the one thing that makes me get out of there ASAP. I hate aggressive salesmen. So I see three stunning 2018 Tahoe's....black, 4x4, Z71 package, Midnight Edition. (I would love to see this in a Suburban). I check them all out, still not being accosted. So I walk inside, ask for TJ and we proceeded to go look at the Tahoe's. It was good timing on my part, so let's just say that TJ and Day's Chevy made a sales offer I was very comfortable with. So just for giggles, I asked them to make me an offer on my 2015 RAM 2500 (which was VERY nice...Cummins diesel, leveled, 4x4, Laramie, Crew Cab, 8 foot bed, Warn winch, Fuel rims, Micky T 35" off road tires and only 10,300 miles on it). Well about 30 minutes later, Days made me an offer on my RAM I just couldn't turn down. So I got a great deal on a new Tahoe and a more than fair price on my RAM 2500. Aside from all of those good things I've mentioned, the facilities were immaculate and I only had to speak with two people.....TJ and Chris (the paperwork guy). Days Chevrolet has the right business model for a modern dealership in my experience. Go see for yourself. More
