We appreciated the patience given us in making our decision on leasing our new 2012 Prius. This is the second Prius we have owned and purchased from Toyota of Orangeburg. I was interested in trading in my 2008 Prius for a Prius V, and had actually looked at one at a dealership Charleston, where I live. However, the sales associate at the Orangeburg dealership was very friend V, and had actually looked at one at a dealership Charleston, where I live. However, the sales associate at the Orangeburg dealership was very friendly and receptive to my needs. Basically, he made it happen for me, where they didn't seem as interested to do elsewhere. I was recommended to this dealership by two friends and would do the same in the future for anyone looking for a Toyota. The experience I had was the least stressful of any I can remember while purchasing a new car. More

In August of 2011, my husband and I expressed to Melanie Hammond that we were interested in purchasing a Toyota Avalon. We were told that the last Avalon was sold the previous weekend. There was no offer Hammond that we were interested in purchasing a Toyota Avalon. We were told that the last Avalon was sold the previous weekend. There was no offer to locate an Avalon at a different dealership. This struck me as odd. Instead, we were shown a Toyota Camry. My husband and I did not object to this for this was a car that we had considered as choice number two. We were pleased with everything with the exception of an interior door that did not operate as it should. There was also no owner's manual for the car. Melanie advised us to bring the car back once the warranty was in full force to have it fixed. She also told us that she had ordered a manual for the car. The paper work was completed and we drove away in our Camry. When it was time to make an appointment for our first scheduled maintenance, which was a free oil change (which wasn't actually free) we expressed to the associate at the Toyota dealership the need to have the interior compartment door fixed, which we were told would be fixed under warranty. We also inquired (again) about the owner's manual of which we still had not received. We were told to contact our salesperson. My husband called Melanie on both her cell phone and office phone. He had a very difficult time getting in contact with her, but when he finally did, the call was disconnected. When he called back, she did not answer his call. My experience was similar. I called Melanie Hammond on several occasions, leaving messages each time I called. She did not answer my calls or respond to the messages that I left. Finally, I called her from a number that was not listed on any of the paperwork and of course, she answered. I explained to her the dilemma that my husband and I were experiencing. She behaved in a concerned manner, asked me to let her check into the situation involving the owner's manual that she was suppose to order and our warranty, and that she would call me back. Needless to say, Melanie Hammond has yet to return my call. After our scheduled maintenance service, a representative from the dealership contacted me in regards to my level of satisfaction. I expressed concern about not being able to get the compartment door fixed; I expressed that we were told that it would be included in the warranty and were surprised to find that it wasn't a part of the warranty. I was told that it would be fixed free of charge since Melanie Hammond had told us that it would be covered under warranty. Because Toyota wanted to honor the promise that was made to us by Melanie Hammond, we were told to bring our Camry in at any time to have a new compartment door installed. When I finally had a break in my busy schedule, I called the Toyota dealership to schedule this repair. There was no notation made by the representative of their promise to repair the defective interior compartment door, free of charge. Needless to say, this is the first and last time that I purchase a vehicle from this Toyota dealership. I would not recommend them to anyone who is in the market to purchase a vehicle. I have been left with feeling as if I have been robbed. More
My wife and myself went to this dealership from Charleston on a Friday evening looking for a specific 2012 Highlander that we knew would require a location to obtain. Jerry Frick greeted us and I m Charleston on a Friday evening looking for a specific 2012 Highlander that we knew would require a location to obtain. Jerry Frick greeted us and I must say he was fine gentleman, friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable with him and he was not in the least bit agressive with the sale. He was laid back and relaxed. He answered our questions as we took a test drive of a similiar vehicle he had on the lot. He explained everything to my wife's satisfaction since it was her actual purchase. He understood and responded accordingly. We then sat in his office and explained the exact car she wanted. In a very timely manner, they had what we wanted located and we procceded with the sale and delivery time. During this process, the sales manager came in to haggle a little but it was much less than most dealerships. He was friendly and I knew he wanted to maximize the sale and that's ok. We set a price, gave a deposit, Jerry completed the paperwork and we left. The truck came in on Monday evening and we picked it up Tuesday evening. Jerry had everything ready, the truck was perfect and after a very quick trip to the business office, we were on our way. Jerry again wanted everything to be right and we very much appreciated his attention to details. I've purchased a lot of new vehicles over the years and Jerry is at the top of my list for good sales people. Overall good experience. More
We purchased a new 2012 Tundra this past December, and this dealership exhibits exceptional, knowledgeable customer service that is unmatched by any other SC Toyota Dealership. From our first contact with this dealership exhibits exceptional, knowledgeable customer service that is unmatched by any other SC Toyota Dealership. From our first contact with the dealership back in October, the experience has been very personalized, but without the pushiness or downright aggravating persistence that other dealerships exhibit. Our sales representative, Jerry Frick, worked diligently to find the vehicle that met our description and then, when it came time to buy, our experience in the dealership was very pleasurable with no hard sales or "stereotypical" sales representative experiences. Our company and family looks forward to a long-lasting relationship of purchasing vehicles from Toyota of Orangeburg- one of the last honest dealerships left. More

He was especially attentive to my wife, preceiving and following up on all her suggestion. The price was adjusted with out difficulty, and Jerry got us just the car we needed at a good price. Everyone we met, from the owner to the business people, were kind and courteous. Important to me was that they stayed out of Jerry's way who seemed in perfect control of our 5 hour marathon relationship. I will recommend people to Jerry Frick. More
