Bought a vehicle for my daughter that has 2 babies, 1 of which is disabled and 2 days later she's on the side of the road with a broke down vehicle. Called the dealership and they were so incredibly rude and basically said "oh well, that's the risk you take with a used car". Horrible customer service. We purchased from what we thought was a reputable dealership in order to get something reliable and lesson learned. More
I found a New vehicle online today for $35K. I stopped into the dealership this afternoon to look at it. I was told that the online price is Never right- he will add another $5K to the price. Chevrolet has lost me as customer due to the sales manager and the vice president out of Ocala. I was looking to purchase a new 2021 Silverado LTZ and the sales manager Jose in Gainesville Florida tri manager and the vice president out of Ocala. I was looking to purchase a new 2021 Silverado LTZ and the sales manager Jose in Gainesville Florida tried to charge me $3000 in round numbers for safety equipment that was already on the truck and.in the MSRP . Just by coincidence there was a $3000 rebate on trucks at that time. Russell S. the salesman I dealt with and was the most pleasant person. I also had collision repair done on my truck 2019 LRZ and was promised a 4 hour turn round which turned into over 8 hours while I was looking for the new vehicle. I called the dealership to express my dislike on both counts due to the lack of service and the overpricing of a vehicle. I was told I would have to talk to Jose the sales manager again and expressed I wanted to talk to somebody who was in charge of the customer service. I was told I would need to talk to the vice president of the company at Palm Chevrolet in Ocala. I called on multiple and left my phone number . A salesman from Palm Chevroler called me trying to sell me a new 2021 LTZ . I explained to him that it would be probably impossible to sell me a new LTZ . I then went to a car agency in Gainesville Florida and bought is a "used " tundra 2021 SR5 with 8 miles on it And I'm now a Toyota driver instead of a Chevrolet driver thanks to the lack of customer service. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT GETTING YOUR CAR REPAIRED BY A DEALERSHIP. Davis Chevrolet are THIEVES! Total incompetence in there service center! I was assured by the service writer Mr. Roark that he had a BY A DEALERSHIP. Davis Chevrolet are THIEVES! Total incompetence in there service center! I was assured by the service writer Mr. Roark that he had a really smart guy in the service department working on the issue? (That should have told me something) Took my college students car for a brake issue and was charged $1531.00 thinking it was the ABS computer module (That needs to be programed by a dealer) and they told me the steering sensor was the cause. Also told me my electric engine fan was bad and needed a new switch and programmed. Yeah call me SUCKER all these issues were gonna fix my brakes? After $1500+ I didn't even get 1 mile away and the brake issue came back. Turned around and re-dropped off the car for the same issue I went there in the first place the brakes! They look again and called and said that the bearing were bad and more front end parts on the right front needed to be replaced for another $1100+. What about the brakes? Without a computer or fault code THEY WERE LOST! Needless to say I picked up the 2013 Chevy Sonic without them getting another dime. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A BUNCH OF MONEY from this SUB-PAR service center at Davis Chevrolet. This isn't a rant because someone hurt my feeling at this dealership. This is a word of advised so they don't sucker you into repairs that didn't have anything to do with the original problem. UP CHARGING CUSTOMERS is where they make their money! STAY AWAY FROM DAVIS CHEVORLET IF YOU WANT TO GET A LEGITIMATE AND HONEST REPAIR ON YOU VEHICLE! Wasted $1500.00 on issues that had nothing to do with the brakes! More
We stopped in to look at a used 2020 Cadillac XT6. We liked the vehicle, the salesman was polite, professional & knowledgeable, negotiated a price that we were ok with, so we made the deal on that Monday liked the vehicle, the salesman was polite, professional & knowledgeable, negotiated a price that we were ok with, so we made the deal on that Monday and told them we'd be back on Friday to pick up the car as we had to get money moved/covered. They told us to write a check and they would hold it until Friday, but we were free to take the car. Great, right? They cashed the check on Wednesday. We were overdrawn well into the 10s of thousands of dollars. When I reached out to the finance manager, Carl, he apologized and said it was an accident and that they would take care of any fees I incurred. How about the hit to my credit??? I had to spend the better part of the morning trying to cover this check and incurred fees associated with this. That was Jan. 13th, 2021. I let Carl know the amount to be reimbursed. I'm still waiting to be reimbursed. I reached out to Carl again Feb. 8th, 2021. He was going to get with the "office manager" and forward their response to me. Still waiting. I would think this would be a really easy thing to take care of , not to mention the right thing to do. This whole experience with the finance department has been a nightmare. As a business owner that purchases several vehicles every year I will never do business with this dealership, or any of it's sister stores again. I will also encourage my family and friends to never shop here. More

I scheduled a service on my vehicle days ahead of time. I showed up early and ready to go after taking time out of my schedule to be there. Waited 2 hours just to be told they would not perform the service on my vehicle(simple alignment) without grinding and charging me hundreds of dollars on my vehicle. This is the most outrageous thing I've ever heard of. I've been an ASE certified suspension tech in my past and have specifically performed hundreds of alignments and never would I have treated a customer like this. Now I have to make another appointment at another dealer to get this done. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!! More
