The last time I was at this dealer was in 2021, and I am shocked to say that everything about the dealer has changed in a bad way. During my visit at this dealer, a lot of unexpected and shocking things hap shocked to say that everything about the dealer has changed in a bad way. During my visit at this dealer, a lot of unexpected and shocking things happened that have turned me away from this dealer for the remainder of time. Initially I only brought my car in to replace my wheel bearings. Upon dropping my car off, I had already stated to the service representative Jonathan Figueroa that my car would not need a Pennsylvania state inspection as my car is not registered in Pennsylvania. However, about 20 minutes into my visit, Jonathan was very adamant that I would need a Pennsylvania state inspection which then necessitated another explanation that I do not need it. The next concern I had stated was that my car did not need a dealer automated car wash, as my car had just been detailed to remove all microscratches at Aerowerkz, but Jonathan did it anyway without informing me of such. I don't know if this is something that happens with all customers, but damaging the paintwork of vehicles is something that is unacceptable. The third concern that will guarantee that I never visit this dealer ever again is the service of my car. As someone that works directly in the automotive industry, I know how to design, build, and manufacture cars. However Jonathan thinks I don't and not only thought the part number of the wheel bearing I showed to him from the Acura parts catalog was wrong, but also thought the pricing of it which is half as expensive directly from Acura was inaccurate. When I asked him about why the pricing was so expensive, he immediately switched to the topic that I lived in California so I must be used to high prices. That's a pretty insulting thing to say to anyone, regardless of where they come from. The other topic related to my wheel bearings was that I was billed for 4 hours of labor, even though I know it doesn't take anywhere close to 4 hours to replace it. Although I had asked beforehand how long It would take, Jonathan said it was something that’s unknown and would not listen to my concerns about it. I'm not sure if this is because of me being out of state that made him bill me for 4 hours of labor, but after having my vehicle serviced at Davis I immediately took it to another Acura dealer which only billed me for 1 hour of labor to replace the other wheel bearing which cut the cost by more than half and that's including the alignment as well. My final concern is simply the alignment of my wheels. My vehicle alignment was completely off with the car turning right even though my steering wheel is perfectly straight. It's a result of the steering wheel having a bias towards being left and even though I could have revisited Davis again to have it fixed, I was afraid the dealer would try and upcharge me again either for another Pennsylvania state inspection(which I don't need), scratch my paintwork yet again, or charge me for another completely unrequired service. Overall I would never visit again, not after having a service representative attempt to charge me twice for a state inspection that wouldn't be valid on my car, completely scratching my paintwork, overcharging me four times what other Acura dealers charge for a wheel bearing replacement, and having my wheel alignment worse than before I brought it in. Needless to say, I'm never going to visit again and continue bringing my car to a different Acura dealer in the area. More
