service personnel were fine except I brought my 2017 2500 diesel in for oil change on Thursday 6-8-2023. On Friday I went to drive it and received an engine oil low alert. I didn't think to much about 2500 diesel in for oil change on Thursday 6-8-2023. On Friday I went to drive it and received an engine oil low alert. I didn't think to much about it, the received same error again on Saturday. Checked engine oil level and it did not read. Took truck back to service on Monday. arrived 1306, didn't receive ,my vehicle back until 1520. Technician said person doing oil change was not familiar with diesels. So I imagine he treated it like a gas engine and put in 6 quarts of oil, versus the 10 quarts of oil a diesel takes. I had to spend an extra 2 hours plus because the technician didn't bother to check dip stick to ensure proper oil level. I am not sure if any damage was incurred driving with as much as 4 quarts low on oil. More
