Buyer beware. Prices listed on autotrader are a joke. When you get there you will find a very different price. Our experience was terrible. We walked out the door and then they called us to come back t When you get there you will find a very different price. Our experience was terrible. We went in and test drove a vehicle just a little while ago. And when we were negotiating a cash price, the salesman spoke with his Manager and ten told us that the advertised price was a misprint. And tri ago. And when we were negotiating a cash price, the salesman spoke with his Manager and ten told us that the advertised price was a misprint. And tried to raise the price by an additional 7000.00. We had cash, no checks, 100 dollar bills. This dealership, I will NEVER give my hard earned money to. They are liars!!!!!! More
October 15, 2012 David Stanley Chevrolet 614 SW 74th October 15, 2012 David Stanley Chevrolet 614 SW 74th Street Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73139 RE: Complaint regarding rude, disrespectful October 15, 2012 David Stanley Chevrolet 614 SW 74th Street Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73139 RE: Complaint regarding rude, disrespectful and fraudulent service. Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Teshia Turner and I was a David Stanley customer; however the service I received from your company assures I will never spend my hard earned money with your company as well as earnings from friends, family and my employer the Hertz Corporation has been notified of the lack of service provided by your company. Let me be clear, I have been in the customer service industry for more than 10 years and the level of service a company provides will drive your company to the top or take your company to bankruptcy. Excellent service provided to customers is the most important key to success for All businesses. I spoke with you finance representative Zach regarding a vehicle, advising Zach I have a busy work schedule about 14hours per day so my time is valuable and did not want to waste time haggling. Zach advised he would not waste my time & he could get me a better interest rate or a new vehicle. I advised Zach the time I would come by however, he said he would be out of the office but Derrion could help me. I’d like to add I was truly pleased with Derrion’s courteous, efficient, and accommodating salesmanship & service provided. Along, with advising David Stanley is privileged to have him on their team! However, this is where the “great service” from your company ends. Derrion showed me the new cars in stock; he also showed me the “used car” selection. I fell in love with the diamond white Buick Lacrosse. I have only purchased new vehicles in the past so I was hesitant to venture to a used vehicle that was a year old with 20,000 miles; however Derrion assured me I was getting a great deal & set my mind at ease. At this point I agreed to a down payment of $2000.00 and a payment in the range $515.00 - $530.00 per month. Darrin then introduced me to HB from the finance department. HB is a dishonest and disrespectful person and it surprises me a company of your caliber would be represented by a person of his character. HB assured me “he would get me the best deal possible”; that was simply a lie. I purchased my previous vehicles from David Stanley as well as my father, brother, and at least 10 of my Hertz colleagues; I had no idea that your company or your employees would stoop to such a dishonest level. I advised HB several times I work for the Hertz Corporation and I’m entitled to a fleet company or GM Supplier discount. I was later advised my discount would not be honored, and he would need $5000.00 as the down payment and my monthly payment would be $563.00 per month. I said No; I would not purchase an older vehicle with double miles it should have for those figures, No. At this point I am frustrated with the lies and haggling of your sales staff and wanted to end the communication because they are clearly deceptive. At the end of the day I spoke to a pompous jerk named De’Antae; which did not help the situation. The new proposal consisted of a 2012 Chevy Malibu with s $2000 down payment – paying off my 2010 Chevy Cobalt; leaving me upside down $14,000 & not honoring my GM Supplier discount. De’Antae would not go in depth regarding the pre-printed contract he just wanted my agreement & signature. I advised I would not sign anything until I read through the contract. After, going through the contract line by line I was not surprised the numbers did Not add up to the figures we discussed. I immediately called to make an appointment & wanted the contract amended, I was advised nothing could be done. I went to the dealership & the Finance Manager Ryan said Saturday is their busiest day and he couldn’t help me until Monday. Are you serious ? I am a customer and the manager can’t help me because he’s busy with potential customers; What?! I returned to the dealership on Monday; I was made to wait 45 minutes! Ryan, agreed to speak with me, I advised I wanted to go over my paperwork line by line. When we read to line number 5 here is where the deception is discovered. The new car sales manager “Steve Castell” lowered my trade in by $3500.00; I was livid! Ryan left the office to speak with his manager “Mr. Castell”. Mr. Castell returns 25 minutes later wanting to know “what was my problem ?!” My, problem, seriously !?! I was very upset and advised him of the poor treatment I received regarding De’Antae’s condescending attitude and Kasey the customer service manager’s careless and disrespectful attitude. He said he would not give me the GM discount and he would not give me the amount promised for my trade-in; he then said “screw it”! The deal is off and proceeded to walk away cursing and using expletive words stating “No one talks to him in that manner; who do I think I was”. Is he serious ? I am a customer that spends money with his company; customers are who keep him and his fellow employees employed. I did Not curse at him nor did I use the language he was using, he was out of line! He was upset that I discovered the lies and dishonesty; he just wanted me to sign the contract without question. NO! I work hard for my money 14hours per day; I deserve to be treated with honesty and respect! The money I make is green and can be spent anywhere as well as my family, friends and colleagues. Every person I come in contact with personally and professionally will know of this experience with your company. It is deplorable to say the least that any company as well known as your would allow this type of behavior and level of dishonesty. Kind Regards, T. Turner More
I went to purchase something newer than I had. Craig Cagle was great. He worked and worked to get me my car and went over and above anything I had expected! It was quite an experience but I left with Cagle was great. He worked and worked to get me my car and went over and above anything I had expected! HORRIBLE PLACE TO BUY A CAR!!! Do not buy from them!! they sold me a car after the papers were signed they send me papers a week later with a NEW AMOUNT. they added 2,000 more then i agreed on AND only g they sold me a car after the papers were signed they send me papers a week later with a NEW AMOUNT. they added 2,000 more then i agreed on AND only gave me 1000 less on my trade in!! when i called to ask about it, (because my copies that i signed did not have though amounts) I was cussed at and laughed at, and hung up on, the manager said he couldn't talk to me because i wasn't a man!!! then low and behold 2 months later we found out that it was in a crash that was not disclosed to us! they said it was normal.. BUT this is a huge safety issue because the cross arm has been crushed and welled together, there is no way they could have sold it to us not know it was a danger to our lives. there is no traction!!!! we found out when the car went out of control (because it was raining) going 50mph, we flew all over the road with our ONE YEAR OLD IN THE BACK SEAT!!!! I am outraged. they told us to drive up there (2 hours away) and they would give us a new vehical for the same price. we did. they didn't fix the problem, they tried to sell us a different car for 15,000 less then what we paid FOR THE SAME PRICE!! the service manager himself was amazed that they didn't give us a refund or a new car because of the safety issues on it. PLEASE protect yourself, do not buy a car through these people. More
I will NEVER shop at David Stanley Chevrolet located at 614 Southwest 74th, OKC, OK 73139. Their practices are shady and under-handed. I filled out a survey online as I was in a time constraint to find a 614 Southwest 74th, OKC, OK 73139. Their practices are shady and under-handed. I filled out a survey online as I was in a time constraint to find a vehicle. I received a phone call from Jessica. I explained EXACTLY what I needed, Make & Model of vehicle, year (or newer), mileage (or less), and price-point (or less). She told me I was "in luck" as their dealership was trying to "get rid" of vehicles on the lot. She put me on hold and advised me that her manager came in and said that "We CAN DEFINITELY get her (me)in that vehicle". Upon my arrival, Jessica handed me off to Israel. He had me test drive a brand new vehicle (same Make & Model I wanted). This vehicle was $14,500 MORE than I could afford. He said that "there was NO WAY that I can get in this type of vehicle for my price point". Jessica LIED to me to get me in the door!!! This is shady and under-handed. GMC should be ashamed of this dealership as they are CON ARTISTS! I will NEVER recommend this dealership. I will advise ALL of my friends and associates to STAY AWAY from DAVID STANLEY CHEVROLET. For anyone who reads this...STAY AWAY from this dealership. They LIE to you to get you in the door and then use high pressure sales tactics to sell you something that you were not planning on. They treat their customers like they are plain stupid. I AM NOT. I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. DAVID STANELY CHEVROLET was NOT ABLE TO GET ONE OVER ON ME! DON'T LET THEM GET ONE OVER ON YOU!!! More

We called David Stanley and Kevin told us that he had lots of 2012 Chevy Camaro to chose from. When we got there he had only one. Paperwork took over 6 hours to complete, even though we were already ap lots of 2012 Chevy Camaro to chose from. When we got there he had only one. Paperwork took over 6 hours to complete, even though we were already approved for the car. The car had a large scratch on the front bummer, that we were told they would find out when they could fix it. The next thing is the camaro was supposed to be capable of blue tooth, but to our surprise all the blue tooth had been removed. So that it did not work. The camaro that we bought was supposed to be a NEW 2012 but when we went to tag it, we found out that it had already been purchased and it was a used car. It took us over an hour to get the title straighten out. There was no windshield fluid in the car. David Stanley took a check for $1500.00 more, but did not apply it to the down payment. We realized that when the payment book arrived and it did not show the extra $1500.00 on the down payment. I cancelled the check and David Stanley has never called us.I am wondering if they were just going to cash the check and keep the money, which to me is stealing and embezzlement. I have contacted Chevrolet but got one email that said they would be sending me paperwork to fill out, but no paperwork has been sent. A representative from Chevy, his name is Larry called me once, and I have tried numerous times to call him and all I get is his voice mail, I have left messages but Larry has not called me back. I have sent several emails and have never heard from them. I think David Stanley owes us some money back for selling a used car at a new price, they should fix the bumper, and install the booth tooth capability , so that I can use my phone in the car. I will never shop at this dishonest, not trustworthy place ever again. We are considering trading this car in within 2 years and buy another one, but it WON'T BE FROM DAVID STANLEY. More

After sitting in the finance office for an hour without anyone letting us know what was going on. After waiting for an hour we found out we weren't appoved for the car and I had to return it.. then after being embarrassed, your company didn't have the courtesy to give my family and I a ride home?!!! making us call a cab which cost us $47.00 because your sellsman told us you didn't have a courtesy shuttle? .. I will NEVER do business with you again and I will make damn sure that I let everyone know what your company considers "quality customer service" More
