Friendly Sales Associate I have spoken to people who do not care for this dealership group. The job of all people in car sales is to try to sell you a car. Your experience is I have spoken to people who do not care for this dealership group. The job of all people in car sales is to try to sell you a car. Your experience is partially defined by your car savvy. If you are not car savvy, you must do research. Do not rely solely on the salesman to look out for your best interest. Know certain basics, like cars are not supposed to buck while driving. Know your situation with the equity or negative equity that you have in your car before you head in to any dealership. I had the pleasure to work with a friendly salesman when I went in last week. Shawn Murray assisted me and he was wonderful. A breath of fresh air; far different from what you would expect. Unfortunately I had way too much negative equity to make a deal in my price range work. His manager Billy Thompson even followed up with me the other day to let me know that there was new inventory that I could come look at. If anyone else needs a friendly salesman and you're heading to David Stanley Chevy on I-240, ask for Shawn! More
