Derrick Knight and everyone else at the dealership was wonderful. You are greeted by someone as soon as you pull in. All the employees are friendly, they all try to help in any way possible. We had been t wonderful. You are greeted by someone as soon as you pull in. All the employees are friendly, they all try to help in any way possible. We had been to other dealerships and were made to feel like our less than perfect credit made us not worth their time. That was not the case here. This is actually the third vehicle we have bought from David Stanley Chevrolet for that very reason. We came in looking to trade the 2007 Lincoln Navigator we purchased in 2012 for a used truck. With all the help from Derrick, everyone in the used car department, and the new vehicle department we left in a brand new 2013 Chevy Silverado! And the price was something we can handle!!! We will be back! More

Great experience. Saw the vehicle on the internet, made a call and set up an appointment to test drive the vehicle. Saul met me, took me for the test drive, answered all my questions. The whole situation was a nightmare. They had a Mazdaspeed6 for sale with low miles a a good price. I had spoken with Vincent Garner about a week before I purchased the car. We talked about the car Mazdaspeed6 for sale with low miles a a good price. I had spoken with Vincent Garner about a week before I purchased the car. We talked about the car, the features it has, and I confirmed that the car was fully stock. He assured me that they couldn't lower the price, and that's the best they could do. I checked cars.com again the next morning and the price had dropped $1,000. I called back then next day and tried to work with a different sales person, but kept getting routed back to Vincent. I told him that I was going to look into my finances and then make a deposit, which he confirmed they could do. Two days later, I called back, and told him that I was ready to make the deposit. After chasing a few people down, he told me that he couldn't actually put a deposit on the car because it was being "wholesaled." With the fear of loosing the car, the next day we drove 8 hours down to the dealership. We took it for a test drive and it was quickly evident that it was not stock. Short shifter, blow-off valve, and intake were all aftermarket. I then decided I should take it for a pre-purchase inspection at Firestone Tire. Firestone told me that the tires were oversized for the rims and have been rubbing against the car to the point where they were concerned the tires were going to pop on the way back to the dealer. Despite these issue, I was still happy with the price. And decided to go ahead with the sale. I'm not sure what Vincent was doing, but he kept us there for and addition 4 hours while he was trying increase the cost of the car by only showing us monthly payments instead of the total cost of the car. Luckily I had my laptop with me, and showed him what the monthly payment should be with the price that we had already agreed on. Several hours later, we finally sign all the paperwork and have to drop the car off at a tire shop to get new tires… because it was unsafe to drive home. And that's just the issues at the dealer... When I finally got my car back home, I went to get it inspected at which point they let me know that it failed the emissions test because it had no catalytic converter. Yup, they sold me a car which can't pass inspection. I called the sales manager at David Stanley (Zach) and he told me "Well, we sold it to you as is. You can send us an estimate and we might be able to give you some 'relief' but this is your responsibility." While yes, I probably should have seen the signs, David Stanley took full advantage of me and dumped me with a car that won't pass inspection without spending thousands of dollars. More
I contacted Steve Castell to purchase a 2009 Viper that they had listed on their website. I worked out a price for the vehicle, got approved for the loan, and had a check cut from my credit union to purch they had listed on their website. I worked out a price for the vehicle, got approved for the loan, and had a check cut from my credit union to purchase the vehicle. I then discovered that the vehicle was in an auction close by. Someone at the auction reported that the vehicle had frame damage, and when I questioned this, I was reassured that the vehicle would be fine, and that I should "trust him" that there was no damage, and send payment for the vehicle to pick it up straight from the auction. I requested to inspect the vehicle in person before sending payment. I was then told that would be impossible, and that they would ship the car back to Oklahoma City so I could purchase the car in person. I made plans to do this, and was told that it would take a few more days to get the car back, and then received word today that they had sold the car to someone else. I wanted to let others know about my experience with David Stanley, and the tactics that they use to take advantage of their customers. I actually know the previous owner of the vehicle, and was also in contact with another friend that had inquired about the vehicle (also in Dallas). He was contacted and asked if he was still interested in purchasing the car, while I was waiting for the vehilce to arrive back in Oklahoma. This is a classic example of a customer that is more informed than a dealership would hope, and got caught trying to take advantage of a customer. Beware of this dealership, and how they conduct business. More
Worst experience ever in car shopping. All sales men were sitting on the curb waiting to attack us as we drove up. The car on the Internet was no longer there and they immediately starting showing us a car t sitting on the curb waiting to attack us as we drove up. The car on the Internet was no longer there and they immediately starting showing us a car twice as much and convinced us this was a better deal. After purchasing the car and looking online the car was marked as $7,000 less then what we purchased the car for. The salesmen were aggressive and will take advantage of you. I will never come back to this dealership and I hope no one else does either! Terrible experience with terrible employees. More
