I stumbled on a post for a three row Chrysler Pacifica. David Stanley Chevrolet had it listed, and it was in our price range. After we went to purchase it, we were handed the keys and told we had been financed. They told us that they filled all used cars up with twenty dollars in gas, and we left the lot happy with our purchase. When we got home, we noticed that our gas light was on, and we were surprised. It shouldn’t be on. We filled up our car only to realize that it wouldn’t take gas. You have to feed gas in to it a little bit at a time while the gas pump constantly shuts off. The gas spews out of the tank if you fill it too quickly, and the fuel tank doesn’t work properly. It has a twenty gallon tank, but our tank only takes about ten gallons at a time, if that. David Stanley Chevrolet filled our tank up for us before we left, and they knew that it wouldn’t take gas properly. Instead of informing us about it, they let us buy a bad car anyway. The gas tank only ever fills half way up, the gas gauge is inaccurate, and at one moment the car reads that you have one hundred and sixty miles to empty, and the next moment you have two miles until empty. We cannot use this car to take our family places because we never know when we are going to run out of gas. We had the car for almost two months before they got the title to us. Part of the reason it took so long to get our title is because they lied to us about being financed. They told us we were financed, but unbeknownst to us, they kept continually running our credit for weeks after we left the lot. They never contacted us and asked if we wanted them to keep trying. They never let us know that we hadn’t been financed. They never let us know they were going to try again. They just didn’t care about us as customers at all. I do not like people who conduct shady business practices just to make a buck, and that is what they did to us. I will never do business with them again. I have three children, and a car that isn’t reliable thanks to David Stanley Chevrolet. My youngest daughter was born with a birth defect, and because this lot was more concerned about selling a car than about telling the customer the truth, I don’t have a car that can transport her to her out of town appointments. Also, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. More
I swung by David Stanley right after work on a Saturday. In hindsight, this was probably a bad dicision due to it being one of their busiest days of the week. Never-the-less, I walked in needing a truck with four wheel drive at a decent price and Jeff came through. We didnt wase any time finding a truck. After a short spin down I-240 and hitting the back roads to test the 4x4, I was hooked. The truck pretty much sold itself with how well it rode, even with 4x4 engaged. Jeff informed me of the in's and out's of the truck and I felt like I had been driving the truck for years by the time we pulled back into the lot. The hospitality and service I recieved while going through the treacherous regime of purchasing a vehicle was paramount. Even with offices full of people buying cars, I still felt like the most important person there. The only downside to the truck is that the interior was not detailed since receiving it from the previous owner. Dints and dings come with ownership of a truck but the interior shouldnt smell and have water stains on the seats. This is partially my fault for not pointing these flaws out prior to the sale. Lesson learned. I'm overall pleased with this purchase. More

I purchased a new 2013 Chevy Silverado at David Stanley Chevrolet from Jessie Clark. He was exceptionally professional, friendly and informational through out the process. The reason I would recommend not Chevrolet from Jessie Clark. He was exceptionally professional, friendly and informational through out the process. The reason I would recommend not only this dealership but especially Jessie Clark to anyone looking to buy a vehicle is because Jessie went out of his way to meet my expectations. I was very disappointed with my visit at David Stanley Chevrolet on 7 Sep 2013. I live 150 miles away and found a truck I wanted online. I called the dealership and told them it was a long drive for me to Chevrolet on 7 Sep 2013. I live 150 miles away and found a truck I wanted online. I called the dealership and told them it was a long drive for me to maybe go buy a vehicle. I was more worried about the trade allowance that I would be offered on my vehicle. I let them know that I needed close to 28k for my trade in, and was informed that if they couldn't get me 28k, they could get close. I was told if we couldn't make a deal, that the dealership would pay for my gas for traveling so far. I had an appointment scheduled at 4pm. I called the dealership at 215pm to let them know I was on my way. I arrived at the dealership in time for my appointment and asked to see the truck I inquired about, and was informed that it had been sold 4 hours ago. That irritated me because they sold the vehicle 2 hours before I even left my house. I understand that dealerships get busy, but when I call you before I leave to let you know I'm on the way. The least you could do would be to tell me that the truck you were looking at is sold. I started looking at other vehicles that sparked my interest, and let them do the appraisal on my vehicle. Worst thing that could happen is we don't make a sell and I get reimbursed for my gas. The first offer came on my truck and the offer was 21,500. That wasn't good enough. I spoke with a different salesperson, and the next time I was told was 20,200. They finally agreed and got me a trade allowance of 28k. I was happy. Two of the vehicles I looked out were out of my price range, but there was a 2013 model truck that was bone stock listed at 42,640. They ran the numbers and said the vehicle was 45000 and after 4200 worth the rebates, my total finance cost would be 41k and some change. I mentioned the MSRP was 42640 and he said it's because of the add-ons. There were NO add-ons. It was a stock truck. We couldn't make a deal. I wasn't hurt by that. At least they eventually met me where I needed to be on my trade in. I asked about getting reimbursed for my gas, and he went into the "system" and came back and said that I would only get reimbursed if they couldn't meet my trade value, so I didn't even get reimbursed for my gas. Long story short, I wasn't told the truck I was going to look at was sold before I got there and I got lied to about getting reimbursed for gas. They need to get their stuff together if they want my business. Based on my only experience at David Stanley Chevrolet, I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. On a side note: Ms. Randi was very friendly and very accommodating and did everything within her power, and if I ever come back there, I won't deal with any other salesperson. More
