Hello Kasey, Thank you for your review, we apologize it was not a positive experience for you. Per Ruben, he said he spoke with you in regards to the aftermarket products that you purchased from us. He said you stated that you wanted to cancel the dent, MyStar, paint and fabric, and Tri-Pac protection packages that you had purchased with your truck. Ruben said you explained that you did not know you purchased these items. Ruben explained to you that you would have had to sign multiple forms that disclosed all these items, and unfortunately, we could not cancel these items because it was a non-cancellable purchase. Ruben also explained to you that you also had purchased warranty and gap protection, and those items were cancellable. In an effort to make up for the non-cancellable items, Ruben said he would do so if you chose to cancel them. We are sorry about your experience and if there was any misunderstanding. I was well aware when I purchased the vehicle that these were in the contract. I was told by the finance department that they were included in the extended warranty I was purchasing. I stated to the finance officer that these were seperate forms and each had a price at the top which made it appear to me they were not part of the extended warranty. He said no they are included and it is how they are packaged and there would not be additional charges associated with these because they were included. I have filed a claim with the better business bureau and received and unhelpful legal response from your general council, however, I was not wanting a legal response I am educated and aware of contract law. I was concerned with the ethical standards your business is using to conduct business when you flat out lie- absolutely no regard for your customers or customer service. I have since contacted the additional companies directly and some have agreed to return the items but I will continue to ensure that I do not have friends relatives or aquitances purchase from David Stanley. And I have told everyone about my experience, you can ask the entire tag agency, my office, and my bank. More surprisingly you can ask the many people I have told of my experience who have agreed and stated they have never heard anything good about this dealership.
