Took my 2021 Acadia in for electrical problems. ( dashboard intermittently going blank). I was told the problem was probably I don’t drive it enough. Before I picked it up I went online and did a q ( dashboard intermittently going blank). I was told the problem was probably I don’t drive it enough. Before I picked it up I went online and did a quick search and found out is a known problem. I ask them if there was any service bulletin addressing the problem and they told me no. I gave them the bulletin number, he looked it up and said. “Oh. We checked that”. I have my car back but no action has been taken. It is a safety concern because you have no indications on the dashboard when driving. It doesn’t happen a lot but when it does it’s kind of scary. More
Our Yukon has been at the dealer for over a month due to a persistent leak into the floorboards. Initially, they repaired it, but upon picking up the vehicle, we discovered that the carpet had molded due to a persistent leak into the floorboards. Initially, they repaired it, but upon picking up the vehicle, we discovered that the carpet had molded due to the leak not being properly fixed. They promptly ordered new carpet, and the service technician kept me informed throughout, despite delays in shipping from the manufacturer. After the new carpet finally arrived, I returned to pick up the vehicle only to find that the original leak persisted, and the carpet was completely soaked again. Since the vehicle was under an extended warranty period, I was required to pay $40. This added expense was frustrating, especially considering the ongoing issues with the repair. More
